Chapter 19 - Marry Him?

"Here, sit and feed me!" Jake said, making her sit on a stool beside the bed and motioned her to take the soup bowl and feed him.

She took the bowl and started feeding him slowly and he kept staring at her intensely!

Hey, God! Do you have any problem with me? Why do you always make me fall into an awkward situation? Emma thought avoiding looking at his face or she would be blushing furiously!

After feeding him, she took a napkin to wipe his lips. While she was doing it, her fingers accidentally touched his lips.

He immediately held her wrist in a tight grip and she gulped looking at his darkened eyes. Then the next moment, he placed a kiss on her fingers making her go red!

Butterflies appeared in her stomach and she looked down feeling shy.

After some time, she looked up at him and decided to initiate a conversation.

"Is it painful?" She asked, indicating the injuries in his body.

"Nope!"
