LOGINLUNA’S POV
The figure steps from the shadows, and the air thickens—like the forest itself is holding its breath. My silver eyes flare instinctively, reflecting light off the cavern crystals. He’s taller than any human—or wolf—I’ve ever seen. Cloaked in black, mask glinting faintly under the moonlight. The chill radiating from him isn’t natural. My skin prickles. Every instinct screams: this is the end. Kaelen steps in front of me, stance wide, claws glinting. His golden eyes lock on the intruder. “Luna… stay behind me.” I don’t move. My hands twitch. My wolf surges inside me. I’ve come this far. I’m not hiding anymore. The masked King tilts his head. His voice is calm, deliberate, and the sound makes my blood freeze. “So… the little Silver-Blooded girl finally awakens.” My heart stops. The title. The prophecy. The weight of all I’ve learned tonight crashes down on me. “What do you want from me?” I demand, voice trembling but sharp. He steps closer. The cavern trembles beneath him. “Everything. Your blood, your power, your throne. Nothing less.” Kaelen growls low. “She’s not just power. She’s mine. You touch her, you die.” The King laughs. Low, cruel, like a predator savoring its prey. “Mine? Oh, Alpha… I am the King. Everything is mine. And that includes her.” A wave of rage floods through me. My wolf rages. My silver eyes flare until the crystals shatter light across the cavern. “You’ll never touch me!” I roar. The King freezes. He tilts his head as if amused by my defiance. Then—he disappears. One second he’s there. The next, he’s behind Kaelen. Faster than any human could be. Kaelen’s claws flash, but he barely blocks the blow. The force sends him skidding across the cavern floor. “Kaelen!” I scream, heart hammering. My wolf surges, instincts taking over. I throw my hands forward, summoning the silver-blood energy. A cage of light erupts, trapping the King. He laughs again, inside the cage. “Clever girl… but childish. You think you can stop me?” I grit my teeth. “I don’t THINK. I know.” My voice echoes, trembling yet commanding. The cavern responds, crystals pulsing in rhythm with my heartbeat. Kaelen scrambles to his feet, wiping blood from his lip. He glances at me, eyes wide. “Luna… you’re stronger than I thought… but he knows your power. He’s preparing something.” “What?” I snap, panic slicing through me. Kaelen hesitates. His jaw tightens. “He’s… your father.” I freeze. Every muscle locks. My heart stops. “…What?” Kaelen’s eyes are steady, but something flickers—pain, regret, fear. “The King… he is your father. And he’s not the man you believed you knew.” I stumble back, mind racing. “Impossible. My parents… they were… good! My mother—” “She loved you. She protected you. But your father… he is power-hungry. He orchestrated the fire, the betrayal, everything to control the prophecy.” Kaelen’s voice drops low. “And now… he wants you back under his control. Permanently.” The King smirks from inside the silver cage. “Ah… my daughter finally realizes the truth. And she doesn’t like it. How… disappointing.” I swallow hard. My blood screams. Rage and betrayal swirl inside me. My wolf growls, low and primal. I raise my hands again. Light flares. Crystals shatter. Water trembles. I am not afraid. I will not be controlled. Kaelen steps closer, whispering urgently, “Luna… your power isn’t just for fighting him. It’s for stopping him. For freeing everyone he enslaves.” I glance at him, fear and determination mixing. “…Then I fight. I end him.” The King’s laugh booms through the cavern. “End me? My little girl… you’ll destroy yourself before you touch me.” My wolf growls. My silver eyes glow brighter. I take a step forward. I am not a child anymore. Kaelen moves beside me. “Together. We face him together.” I nod. Heart pounding. Power surging. Every nerve on fire. The King smirks, eyes glinting beneath his mask. Then, with a flick of his hand… the cage shatters. And before I can react— He disappears again. Right in front of me. Kaelen shouts. “Luna—WATCH OUT!” A shadowy hand wraps around my throat. Silver light explodes in my eyes. Pain sears through my body. And the last thing I hear before the world goes black… “…Your power… belongs to me.” To be continued..LUNA’S POVIm here at the party attend the gala night.Too loud.Too perfect.Crystal chandeliers glitter above us, and the air smells like expensive perfume and champagne. Elegant women glide across the marble floor, and men in tailored suits laugh like they have no worries in the world.Meanwhile, I feel like a fraud in a borrowed dress.“Stop fidgeting,” Kaelen murmurs beside me.“I’m not fidgeting,” I whisper back, even though I am absolutely fidgeting.“You’ve adjusted your dress six times in the last minute.”“It’s called anxiety,” I mutter. “You should try it sometime.”He gives me a sideways glance. “I prefer controlled danger.”I roll my eyes. “Of course you do. I keep my eyes down, trying not to attract attention. Then—I see him.Across the room, near the long table of drinks.Tall.Lean.Dark hair.Familiar posture. My breath stops.
LUNA’S POV“The Alpha King.”Those three words feel like ice being poured down my spine. My heart hammers wildly against my ribs. My palms turn cold. My knees feel like they might give out at any second. The Alpha King is here. Not his hunters. Not his rogues. Not his soldiers.Him.I swallow hard. “You mean… here, here?”Kaelen’s jaw tightens. “Yes.”A loud crack echoes from outside the cave—like a tree being split in half. Dust rains from the ceiling. My survival instincts finally kick in.When danger comes, most people scream, cry, or run.Me?I follow my life routine.Step one: Breathe.I inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.Okay… heart still racing. But at least I’m not fainting.Step two: Check surroundings.Exit: one.Enemies: probably many.Chance of survival: questionable.Step three: Secure essentials.I rush to the small pile of things

Dust falls from the cave ceiling, and small pebbles roll across the stone floor. My heart starts pounding.“What was that?” I whisper.Kaelen’s head snaps toward the cave entrance. His golden eyes narrow, glowing faintly in the darkness.“They’re close,” he mutters. My chest tightens. “Who?”But deep down, I already know the answer. The Alpha King’s hunters.A cold sweat breaks across my skin. My hands begin to shake. I thought the cave was safe. I thought the barrier would hide us at least for the night.Another tremor hits—this one stronger. LUNA’S POVThe shadow lunges again, faster than my mind can process. Its black mist lashes toward me, curling around the shards of crystal and frozen water. My silver eyes flare without warning, and my wolf inside me roars, answering the challenge.I raise my hands—and instinctively, the water rises. Not gently. Not slowly. It twists and spirals, forming jagged spears of ice and silver light. The shadow screams as it crashes into the barrier, recoiling, mist spraying like smoke from burning steel.I gasp for air. My chest aches. My heartbeat is a drum in my ears. My wolf—my power—is awake. And it is hungry.“Luna! Focus!” Kaelen’s voice slices through my panic. He’s on his feet, claws flashing, blocking the shadow’s retreat. His golden eyes burn with fire. “Your blood can control the Veil! You can trap it!”“Trap it?!” I yell. “I barely know how to walk without dying!”“Then stop thinking! Feel it!” His hands hover near mine, guiding without touching. Hi
LUNA’S POVThe Blood Guard’s armor gleams even in the silver light, sharp edges reflecting my own terrified expression.I stumble back, heart hammering. “Wait—king?” I choke. “I’m not ready to meet a king, let alone one who wants to… kill me!”Kaelen spins, putting himself in front of me. His chest rises and falls rapidly, eyes blazing gold. “Stay behind me. Do not move. Do not breathe. Do not think of running.”The Blood Guard tilts his head. Heavy boots scrape against the cavern floor. “She has awakened. The seal is broken. You cannot hide her any longer, Alpha Kaelen.”I swallow hard. The words scrape my throat. “Wait—she? You mean… me?”Kaelen glares at me, jaw tight. “Yes. You. Your blood will either save the werewolves… or destroy everything. That is why they are here.”I glance at the glowing crystals. They shimmer, almost pulsing with my heartbeat. Silver veins ripple across the cavern walls, reaching toward me like they know I’m in danger.
