Tainted pure love

" Princess", a husky voice rang in her ear and she looked around and found Aiden standing on the balcony door and looking at her with glossy eyes.

Elena ran towards her lover and was going to kiss Aiden on his lips, but he took a step back. She looked at his denial in shock. Aiden maintained a respectful distance toward her and Elena's heart broke more seeing this.

" When did you find that I am the mate of your Alpha, Zane," Elena asked him, with the hope that he refused.

"I always knew that you two were mates of each other" Aiden said with shame in her eyes, and Elena couldn't control herself, she slapped him hard on his face.

She never felt this betrayed in her life

" After knowing all this, you played with my feelings. Why didn't you keep your distance between us when you found out about this", Elena asked him in pain and the pain was visible in her eyes.

"When you were 3 years old and Alpha Zane was 8 years old, he confirmed that you were his mate, but we didn't tell you because he wanted you to live your life freely until he came into your life. He assigned me a duty to protect you", Aiden said, and a tear slipped from her eyes.

" But you didn't protect me, but you used me to satiate your needs", Elena accused him and, Aiden looked straight into her eyes, with pain in his eyes.

"I wasn't meant to fall in love with you, but I couldn't control myself. I tried not to fall for you but this traitor's heart wouldn't listen to me" he said, pointing out his heart.

" So I am your Luna now," Elena said, with a dark chuckle on her face. She felt like her whole world was collapsed in front of her and she couldn't do anything.

She didn't know anything about who to believe and who.

" Do you still love me?" Elena asked with hope in her eyes and went close to her, but Aiden was going to take a step back, but Elena gave him a look that he would not do it.

"I love you and will always love you, but we are not destined to be together. I assure you one thing, you will always be the only one who will reside in my heart" he said to her and our hands on her shoulders.

Aiden wanted to hug her and cherish every moment with her, but he was resisting because she was no longer his love but the woman who was going to be his luna.

" If you love me, then escape with me", Elena proposes the idea because she couldn't imagine her life with Aiden and there is desperation in her eyes that only Aiden can understand.

"I can't, Elena, Alpha Zane will kill us all and I can't take the risk. My family, your family, and most importantly, you will come in danger if we try to do something" Aiden said to Elena, and she slapped him hard on her face.

" If you didn't dare to stand with me, then why did you love me for the first time? I curse the moment I loved you and I curse myself that I fell in love with a coward. I want to die because I can't live a life in which you are not present", Elena said to her, with tears flowing from her eyes and she punched him in his chest continuously.

Aiden slammed her to the wall and looked daringly into her eyes. She was shocked for a second.

" You can accuse me as much as you want, but you will not harm yourself. My love for you is pure, but I didn't think of the consequences when I fell in love with you, but now we can no longer be together. You are a strong woman and I am nothing", Aiden said to her, with admiration in his eyes.

Every word pierced his heart, but he couldn't let the one he loved so much die.

Elena understood that no matter what she said, Aiden would never betray his Alpha and she had to accept her fate, but she wanted one night to cherish, with her lover, because after that she would be doomed forever.

" Make love to me," she said to Aiden and he closed his eyes and put his forehead on hers.

" Don't make me do this, only I know how I am controlling myself, Elena", Aiden said to her on his shaky breath.

He knew that everything that he had done was wrong, but now he would not go further in his relationship with Elena.

Everything was wrong from the start, but he fell for the beauty of Elena and her innocence.

Elena's beauty captured Alpha Zane's heart a long time ago, but now there was no escape from Zane because Elena was his from the start.

Aiden took a step back and left heartbroken Elena on her own.

"I came here to inform you to do whatever your father is saying and do not deny him. Alpha Zane is your destiny now, so accept this" he said to her in a cold voice, and Elena couldn't believe that he was the same man she fell in love with.

" My father sent you to break me more?" Elena asked him in doubt, but Aiden confirmed it by not saying anything.

" Get out of my house", Elena said to him in anger and pain, and Aiden left her room.

Everyone in her life was fake and fraudulent and no one cared for her feelings, not her parents and not her lover.

She lay on the bed without changing her clothes and she sobbed until sleep took over her because she knew that tomorrow would bring another disaster and darkness in her eyes.
