Chapter 12

Today was Friday and Beth and I had gone to the movies after school. Liam was still not talking to me. He had passed me in the hallway and I did the same. He had said I shouldn't talk to him and I was respecting his wishes.

I had told Beth at school today, what Nate had done and I had to calm her down and stop her from 'twisting his neck'. That's what she said she would do anyways.

She almost did it at lunch too. Nate had passed our table and made a snide comment about what he did and Beth had shot up instantly to go after him, but Brian had held her waist to prevent her from getting into trouble. She was really angry.

Now, the movie was finished and we were walking from the theatre.

"Hey, want to come over to my house?" She asks as we stood outside the building.

"I can't. My dad is coming home and I want to be there." I said.

"Okay. See you then. I'll call you later."

"Bye." I said as I got a taxi to go home.
