Later that night

Grandmother walked into Larisa's room and a look of satisfaction flashed across her face, seeing that Larisa had eaten the meal.

Larisa was seated on the bed, cuddling her knees and staring blankly.

Grandmother walked towards her and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Do you feel better now?" She asked and Larisa nodded her head positively.

"Good" she mumbled and sighed.

"What happened exactly?" Grandmother asked and Larisa narrated Kimberly's actions to the older lady.

"I understand you and I understand the hurt you feel. After all, your father is my son too" she sighed and took Larisa's hands.

"But this is the more reason you should not give up, Larisa. You have gone through so much to give up now" she said and Larisa pressed her lips into a thin line, looking down at the sheets on her bed.

"If you go for any other man out there, do you think you will be able to get enough powers to stand up to Kimberly one day?" Grandmother asked and Larisa thought about it.
