Chapter 7 – Why does everyone has a mama except me?

Jake and Mark shook their heads sadly, and Garvin felt his heart drop.

"What is going on?" he asked.

"Meet Detective Hayes," Mark said, gesturing towards a casually dressed man who looked like he was carrying a handkerchief. He was a private detective that Mark had hired on Garvin's behalf.
