"Ms. Hastings, that is a very serious accusation." Detective Sullivan grumbled at me, not seeming to care about the fact that I had just been in a car accident. His biggest concern was that I had ordered him out here and disrupted his day off.

"I understand that! That doesn't change the fact that my parents were murdered a couple months ago, and now my brakes were tampered with!" My voice rose, and multiple heads turned.
