Jethro's eyes met mine, and I could see in them the angry fire that burned within. He advanced on them, low in tone, very menacing. "Let her go."

The rogues laughed, though I could tell from their stances and tones they were scared. These were rogues, trained from birth in street fighting and surviving, yet none of them wanted to fight Jethro.
