KHAI’S POV

I stared at the pictures my eunuch sent to my phone for the longest time.

Until today, I never understood how two completely unrelated people could resemble each other this much. And to be certain they were actually unrelated, I had my private investigator do a thorough investigation on her.

Soraya Caelora.

Twenty-one years old. Raised by her father in a peaceful mountain village just outside the capital city of the Black Alder Pack—Ragnar’s pack.

Apparently, her mother had died giving birth to her.

Which was a completely contradicting case from my ex-wife. They did not share the same name, same hometown, or parents. Nothing.

The only string of similarity were their names: Soraya and Sorava. But with nothing else connecting, that seemed to be a coincidental trick from the universe on two doppelgangers.
