Pregnant And Rejected On Her Wedding Day

Kiara stood in front of the Altar, excited for the day she has waited all her life. Today, she'll officially become the wife of the guy that she had admired and loved all her life!.

"Do you, Asher Huxley, accept Kiara Anderson, to be your lawfully wedded wife and to love her till the last days of your life?". An exciting smile appeared on Kiara's lips as she heard the words of the priest.

"I reject you, Kiara Anderson". His voice was cold and his red coloured eyes, piercing as he rejected Kiara in front of the Altar before he left , leaving everybody stunned.

Kiara felt her whole world crumbling as she stood still in shame, watching Asher Huxley leave her side.

She couldn't do anything about Asher leaving, and at the same time, she couldn't understand what was happening. She thought Asher loved her with all his heart just like she did. 

"Wait….". Kiara muttered, but her voice wasn't heard by anyone. 

Bitter tears rushed down from Kiara's eyes endlessly as she watched everyone starting to leave. 

The grand hall was finally reduced to only four people, including Kiara. 

Paolo Anderson walked up to where his daughter stood. 

"Fath….". Kiara thought her Father wanted to console her, but she felt a stinging pain on her cheeks. Her own Father slapped her!.

"You're a useless child!. You should be more like your younger sister. It's best you disappear from this world and never return back to the Mansion. I don't even want to believe that you're my daughter anymore". Paolo turned his back against her. "You're just as useless as your Mother afterall". He added before he left. 

"Stepmo…. Mrs Tessie, Chloe, please help me beg my father". Kiara fell to her knees as she pleaded with her stepmother and stepsister.

Since Asher abandoned her without an explanation, she has only her family to turn to.  

Tessie was really pleased seeing the miserable state Kiara was in. "I told you, Kiara. But you wouldn't listen". She roughly held Kiara's chin as she said. "Asher Huxley deserves someone better like my Chloe, not someone as useless and weak like you. If you're smart, just do what your father said and never return". "And by the way, you stink". Tessie removed the glove she was wearing before she tossed it on Kiara's face. 

"Come on, Chloe, Let's go. She's contagious". Tessie added before she left with Chloe who was feeling really proud of herself. 

With Kiara gone, Asher Huxley would finally notice her (Chloe). 

"How…. How can they do this to another human being?". Kiara tried to stand up, but because of how weak and in pain she was, she fell down flat on the fall and started sobbing endlessly.

"Mother, they all betrayed me. What did I do to them to deserve this?. You died and left me in this world to suffer!". Kiara couldn't stop tearing up. Her hands clenched on her chest tightly and rough the wedding dress.

Kiara vividly remembers when her mother was still alive. Everything was going smoothly in her (Kiara) life, but after the mysterious death of Lilie, her Mother, the companies that belonged to her mother were claimed and transferred to her father, Paolo.

It hasn't even been a week since Kiara's mother died, and Paolo brought his mistress and her daughter back to the Mansion. 

Ever since then, Kiara's life has been so miserable. And the only person that lightened up her dark world, betrayed and abandoned her. 

"What have I done wrong to deserve this?". Kiara questioned one more time, but too bad no one was present to answer her desperate question.

This was the day Kiara could never forget. This day was the day she needed her family's care and support the most, but they all turned their backs against her like she was a complete stranger. 

She weakly stood up back to her feet and left the empty hall. 

Just like Paolo had said, Kiara didn't return back to the Mansion. Not because she was still scared of him, but because she vowed not to return back looking weak.

Kiara rented a really old looking apartment since she didn't have enough money to spend. She was on her own now, so it's best for her to manage. 

(Inside the apartment). 

"Father, you not only betrayed my Mother, but you also betrayed me, your daughter. I was stupid enough to be a puppet to your lovely new wife and my step sister". "You took everything from my Mother!. How could you use my mother's hard earned money on another woman and let me suffer?!. I hate you. I hate all of you". Her Amber eyes were already teary and red. 

But she refused to let another drop of tears escape from her eyes. 

"All of you would surely pay for treating me this way. And for you, Asher Huxley. I shall return strong and powerful and repay the humiliation you caused me". "Blarg!". She roughly covered her mouth when she felt the sudden urge to puke. 

This happened twice before she rushed to the old looking bathroom and vomited. 

"No…. No. It can not be". She placed her hands on her slim stomach before she rushed out of the apartment to the hospital. 

"Tell me doctor…. Please tell me that this is not true". Kiara pleaded. 

"Congratulations, young lady. You're going to be a Mother". The doctor was excited for Kiara when he announced to her. 

To him, he actually thought that Kiara was only behaving like this because she was actually really excited to be a Mother. 

"This is bullsh*t. How can I be pregnant for the person who rejected me!". She shoved the doctor away and ran out of the hospital. 

"Why is this happening to me?. Just why?. I don't think I can continue to stay in this place. It's…. It's best that I leave". This was a really tough decision for Kiara, but she'd rather leave than face this kind of face slapping humiliation.
