Mitchelle's POV

Dan Mario's club was loud the moment we walked in. I see the gaze the bouncer gave me, his eyes trailing towards my cleavage. Fear washed over me as I felt goosebumps on my skin.

"Do you have a ticket?" He asked, never peeling his eyes away from me.

"Ugh... Yes, we do," I answered, showing him the ticket.

"Enjoy your night Miss. You can call me if you need assistance in removing that dress from your body," he said with a wink.

"That won't be happening," Chole said, pushing us inside the club.

The party is booming with loud music and crowded with a lot of people on the dance floor. Chole and I had to squeeze uncomfortably between people to get across.

"I'm sorry," I shout to a topless stripper who I almost pierced a hole out of his foot with my pointed heels. He didn't seem to mind as he continued his dance with a thick lady.

We finally sit down on two empty seats after searching tirelessly away from the rest of the crowd.

"Everyone is crazy out here," I scream to Chole over the loud music playing from the speaker.

"We are lucky to have secured a spot. Zayn Welms will be here any minute and I'm sure you don't want to miss it," Chole says with a smirk, a glass of champagne in her left hand.

I look around the hall. Everyone seems to be having a good time. I see a couple making out at the end of the hall before heading towards the stairs, laughing. "What is upstairs?" I manage to ask without getting nauseous at the sight. "Nothing much. Just a bunch of rooms for make out or sex." She says while taking a sip from her long glass.

Her phone blinks in her hands and she stares up at me, her chocolate-brown eyes filled with guilt and pity.

I immediately understand as I shake my head at her. "Chole, I'm coming with you. Do not leave me here alone please." I beg but she is already on her feet.

"I am sorry Mitch. Something urgent came up. I need to get this, but I'll be back in five. Don't leave this spot, okay? I mean it." She said stepping out of the party.

"Chole, wait please-," I called after her in a weak attempt to make her turn back but she was gone before I could call her back.

I looked dejectedly towards the stage and I hear screams from the front. I see a hooded figure making its way towards the stage from the back. Is that Zayn Welms? My celebrity crush?

I take a step forward towards the crowd as the screams go wider and louder. Definitely Zayn! He holds the microphone delicately in his hands and winks to his audience.

He sings the first tune from his popular song, "It is Us Against the World," and I scream along with the girls next to me.

I felt a tap on my back after the screams died down, and I turn my face towards a worried Chole. "I told you to stay right there. You got me so worried, Mitch," She says with an exhausting sigh.

"I'm sorry Chole. Zayn Welms was on stage, and I was caught up with the song and everything-," I started but she cut me short.

"That is fine. I think you need a drink to chill down. Here is a glass." She says nudging a half glass of vodka towards me.

I furrow my brows in confusion. "Chole, what is the first law of partying?"

"No alcohol," we say together and laugh.

"But for real girl, you got to be in the spirit. Mitch, you are not a child anymore. You got to do things someday. Just one glass won't kill you will it? You will thank me for it you know," She said with a pout.

"You are exhausting," I said with a smirk.

"And you are my pretty Cinderella best friend who hates parties."

"How did I know you again?" I asked with a laugh as she mocks an elbow on my shoulder. We share a toast and I take a long sip from the strong drink and coughed from the harshness on my tongue.

"Sorry babe. You will be fine," Chole said, putting down her drink and patting my shoulders. We stay like that for some time before my head wobbles.

I lifted my head and everything suddenly becomes a blur and a mess of images.

"Mitch! Are you alright?" Chole asked her voice suddenly sounding distant. I see the concerned look on her face as she helps me get up. The light suddenly becomes faint and everywhere seems to spin.

"Let's get out of here," she said, helping me towards the exit. I feel myself walking up the stairs and I'm happy we have gotten home.

"How did we get home so early without a taxi?" I asked Chole with a loud giggle. I bent down to remove the heels but I ended up hitting my head on the bed frame.

"For the love of God! Mitch, do not hurt yourself. And please, keep quiet. You will get to meet someone soon." She said.

"Who is that?" I asked while trying to get out of the dress.

"Woah, woah, woah... Easy girl. Shit, I have to take this." She said while fishing out her phone and leaving the room.

I lay down on the soft mattress and moaned in pleasure from the softness. I cover my naked body with the white duvet. My head feels heavy as I become drowsy.

I heard a turn on the door knob and see a man walk in. My eyesight is a mess as I struggle to see his features. Tall, curly hair-

"Lucas?" I whispered out, loud enough for him to hear me and walk towards me.

I felt his body on mine as I give into the darkness..

  • Pregnant For The Twin Billionaire   CHAPTER 19

MICHELLE'S POV I decided to find my footing around Aunt Rita's new place and subsequently search for a job. I knew that getting a high paying job will be difficult at my aunt's place will not be easy. I walked down the busy streets of Florida, feeling a sense of desperation creeping in. I had to find a job, and fast. My aunt's promise and the dwindling funds in my bank account were taking a toll on my mental health and I know that sonner than later, the little amount I have on me will finish too. As I turned a corner, after walking aimlessly, I spotted a small café tucked away on a quiet side of the street. The sign above the door read "Cozy Cup Café," a name I know Lizzy will definitely laugh at. What caught me was the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted out, enticing me enough to come inside. I pushed the door open and stepped inside, my eyes adjusting to the warm lighting. The café was cozy, with comfortable-looking armchairs and small tables scattered about. The walls w

  • Pregnant For The Twin Billionaire   CHAPTER 18

MICHELLE'S POVI didn't want to get my hopes up, so I maintained a neutral look as I walked with the water. I walk towards her room and find her clutching her head with a frown. "What's wrong?" I asked, seeing her furrowed brows. "I...I think I have a concussion. The pain is unbearable." She whimpered and I stare at her in wonder."Do you think we should visit a hospital?" I asked."No, I'll be fine. I just need a pain relief drug and everything will be perfect," she said confidently and I find myself believing her. I help her take a pain reliever with the glass of tap water I fetched. I surprise myself by patting her back reassuring as she wrinkled her face from the taste of the medicine. I waited for the medicine to take effect and probably get a story behind her injury before leaving. I watch her gaze and break eye contact with me repeatedly. "What do you want to tell me aunt?" I ask making it easier for the both of us. "Nothing really. It's nothing," She ranted. Her eye

Michelle's POV I wait till dusk with my three luggages downstairs. The portal could not linger for long and left as soon as I payed him. I finally sighted my aunt coming back from wherever she went to and heavied a sigh of relief. At least, she didn't leave me till the next morning. "I've been waiting for ages Aunt. You didn't care to leave your keys behind or something," I said irritated. "Seems like someone has lost her manners. You never told me you were coming around today did you?" She asked before going upstairs. She was still as grumpy as ever! I made three trips carrying my heavy bags up to her floor without assistance. I was drenched with sweat by the time I was done with the last one. "You can retain your old room if you want. But just remember, nothing has changed." She said before disappearing into her room, shutting the door noisy to tell me not to disturb her for anything. I am elated because I won't mind sleeping on the couch, as long as I had a roof over

  • Pregnant For The Twin Billionaire   Chapter 16

Mitchelle's POV I see Lizzy waiting expectantly for me at the door. "So? How did it go?" She asked in panic. "I told him he was an asshole and he gave me $20 dollars," I said with a satisfying grin. "Oh my God Mitch, I'm so proud of you girl. You finally put him in his place," she said with a smile. We giggled like kids until we entered into the store room. "I can't imagine his face when you told him that. I'm literally on top of the world girl!" She said still bemused by the incident. "Hopefully, he'll find a replacement. I pity the poor girls." She added with a mischievous sneer. "Girls? Wait... Don't tell me you're also..." I said confused. "Yes Mitch. Do you think I can stay and endure him? No baby, I'm out there to get a life like you are." She said without care. "Did you do it for me?" I asked emotionally. "I wish, but no. I did it for myself. Besides, I'm 23, I need to get myself a man." She said giggling. "Oh Lizzy. I really will miss you." I said teary

  • Pregnant For The Twin Billionaire   Chapter 15

Mitchelle's POV I can't believe I was scammed online. I wept like a child, wondering what exactly I did wrong to the universe. I had a few days to be sent out of my apartment and I figured it would be wise if I started earlier to pack. I brought my boxes and started with the stuffs I knew won't be necessary for the time being. I genuflect where I will run to and stay for the time being. For a slight second, I almost considered Chole's proposal and immediately removed it from memory. "I can't allow her in after all she has done to me. Who knows, she might kill me the next time," I said, shaking my head repeatedly. I resume work the next day dejectedly and sluggishly. I decided that if my boss was cold-hearted to pay me, I can also be cold-hearted to work. "What's wrong with you? Why is your face that way?" Lizzy asked the moment she spotted me playing with the cleaning towel. "I'm considering my options, Lizzy. I will be thrown out soon enough if I don't pay up." I answere

Jordan's POV It turned out that Jason was bluffing about being the reason for Rosie's accident. He has been persistent with his disturbances and threats since then. It's been a week since Rosie's accident. Fortunately, Ryle wasn't at the hospital for long. She had a few cracked ribs and lost two molars and had Miranda gushing over her the moment she was wheeled out of the emergency room. Thankfully, we got home before Lucy could watch the news and search frantically for us. "You haven't had a conversation with me ever since that day. Talk to me, what's wrong?" I asked her the moment she turned to leave the dinning when she sighted me. "Nothing is wrong. I'm very fine," she said, removing my hands from hers. "No, you're not, and we will talk about it now." I said, pulling her towards a chair. "I don't want to do this right now, Jordan," she said defeated. "I don't too, but this is where we are, so tell me," I said. "I already told you about my feelings for you, appare
