"Shut Up Shruti! You know I can't do that to you. I Love you, baby! Trust me she is just a friend."''

I was trying to convince my girlfriend who was continuously blaming me that I had an affair with my college friend Rashmi...

"Stop it Abhi!! I know you are lying. You have been with her since starting. I was an idiot. I believed you. I thought you are different than other guys but you are just like them. You are playing with my feelings."

She said that while trying to get up from the couch.

These are her lines Every time we fight. She used to blame me for having an affair with different girls and I used to convince her that I wasn't cheating on her. I was actually getting tired of these arguments.

I knew a new cycle in that relationship will start. Shruti would break up and will return the ring and then she would go home and I would beg for her and then again she will forgive me and after a month when everything would go smoothly and I would decide to finally make a plan of getting marry her sooner she would ruin everything.

Last weekend I was planning everything with my college friend Rashmi. She is my best friend and we have more of a friends bonding rather than a GF BF. I had never ever thought of that. She was going to Marry soon and she loved Rahul her fiancé but my GF was hell too unpredictable. 

I mean at least just think what you are thinking. I was too tired of her melodramas. I held her hand and pulled her back on the couch.

"Stop it Shruti. You know I can't go away and I can't live without you. You are my life and my love. Come on let's not fight over this.'''' 

I kissed her hands I wanted this new clash to end as soon as possible.

"No. This is enough. I won't ever forgive you. You have to stay away from me. I am breaking up with you. Take your ring back."''

As expected. I was looking at the ring.

I don't know whether I actually love her or not but I can't definitely risk this breakup. Her Dad and My Dad are really close friends and my Dad had agreed to make me the next CEO of his company on one condition that I have to marry Shruti Roy. This was totally a business deal but I was trying to make it great between me and Shruti.

She is really nice and a beautiful girl but being the youngest daughter in her family she became too stubborn and arrogant. I don't give a damn to other girls. I too have a standard but Shruti was testing my patience again and again.

"Stop it now. Please don't go.''''

She didn't listen and got up and she left the bar. I was thinking of following her but I knew she won't stop so I stayed there and was holding my vine glass when someone held me from my collar. I looked up and it was Rahul.

"What the hell??? What's your girlfriend saying??? You are in love with Rashmi? What the hell dude???''''

I got really mad listening to that. I wanted to hit him hard but I just pushed him away off my collar. I can't bear that.

"Wait, Rahul. Listen to me before you say anything let me explain. It's a misunders.....!"

Before I completed my sentence he punched me hard on my face. He was crossing all the limits. I lost my control and I kicked him hard and he fell on the ground and the next moment I was holding him from his collar.

"Don't you dare do that again? I swear I will forget who are you. "

Everyone was looking at us and meanwhile, Rashmi held me from my arm.

"Abhi leave him. Please. Get up."

I got up picked up a beer bottle and went out of the bar. I was looking for my car keys when I heard Rashmi.

"Would you please tell me what happened? Why were you beating him up???"

I was hell mad and I turned around and looked at her.

"Go ask him. Do you really think he trusts you??? I told you that he doesn't like me. He was always insecure about your relationship. But you were so positive. Now, look what happened??? He never had accepted our friendship Rashmi. He was just pretending to be a good guy. I can't explain more. I want to leave now. Go ask him."

"This isn't true. " She almost cried while saying that.

"You think I would lie to you??? Well, it's up to you. I won't force you."

I hopped in the car and drove towards home. On the way, I decided to not chase Shruti anymore. This was enough now. I stopped by a bar and I went in. The last thing I remember was that I was drinking too much. And only a glimpse of kissing someone. Nothing else. When I got up My head was aching. I was fully naked and beside me was lying a girl. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I got up and was still not believing my eyes. The girl was placing her head on my heart. Her face was covered with her hair. I thought she might be Shruti but she wasn't. I carefully moved her hair aside to see her face. But I lost my heartbeat for a second after seeing that beautiful face. She was looking like a ray of morning sunlight in winter. In all that messy situation I was feeling so calm seeing her face. I actually forgot what happened to me.

I was staring at her face when my phone rang. She opened her eyes and those Hazel eyes were taking my breath away. I somehow cut the eye contact and she was looking confused too. She immediately got up while I was looking for my phone it was in my jacket and it was ringing away from the table.

Meanwhile, I looked at her and she was fully naked too she immediately wrapped the sheet around her and I looked away.

"I am so so sorry. I don't know what happened."
