All I want

My pregnancy is getting worse and I feels so painful luckily I still had Ethan by my side to help me and take care of me.

"Claire?" he asked as he entered my room.

I turned around and smiled at him before giving him a hug. He hugged me back and stroked my hair softly.

"Are you alright? You're not feeling pain are you? Is everything alright?" He questioned as he looked at me concerned.

I shook my head and gave him a small smile. I felt so comfortable in his arms it felt like nothing could hurt me anymore. He smiled and kissed my forehead gently and placed me down on my bed. He sat next to me and caressed my cheek softly.

He leaned in closer and whispered in my ear, "We are going to be alright don't worry about anything."

I blushed at his words and closed my eyes as I rested against him. His embrace slowly calmed me down, and I found myself falling asleep. When I woke up a few hours later I immediately noticed how cold my bed was compared to where I originally fell asleep.
