MATEO'S POV

I walked into a trap as I stepped into the living room. It had turned dark outside but mother still waited for me.

She had so much worry and confusion in her face she starred at the little cuts in my fist and one on my cheek.

"You went their didn't you?" she asked knowingly.

"Why Mateo, why are you doing this to yourself?!!" she went on groaning in pains like she was the one hurt in all this.

"I needed to teach him a lesson." I gave a straight answer.

"Fighting, Hating on each other, do you really think this is the way?" She asked

"Its the way he understands, so yes." I said again keeping a calm face all through.

"You're putting the pack in jeopardy Mateo , what if you lose face in the sight of the moon goddess, Your position as Alpha is at stake."

"Then she should have thought of that before she turned my life into chess. I don't give a hoot about what she thinks, if she doesn't like it she can as well step down from her throne and do something." I snapped counterfeiting
