Chapter 20. Karina & Viggo Were Late

The loud alarm sound continued to echo throughout the room, disrupting the deep sleep of a woman. Slowly, the alarm increasingly disturbed the woman's peaceful sleep, causing her to squirm.

The woman's consciousness slowly returned, and she finally fully gathered her thoughts. Her eyes, which were initially closed, instantly opened as she remembered something.

"Oh my goodness, what time is it?!" she exclaimed and immediately jumped out of bed, reaching for her phone that had been ringing incessantly but ignored by her.

Karina's eyes widened, and her heart raced as she looked at the time displayed on her phone. She couldn't believe that it was already 8 a.m. Karina then searched for the wall clock displayed in her room.

"SHIT! I'M LATE!" Karina shouted and threw her phone onto the bed before rushing to the bathroom to wash her face.
