Few hours later,Juliana sat on the couch in the living room.

She just got a call,her brother was investigating the matter with her grandma, Her jaw clenched.

Why didnt he believe that bitch did it?

She needed to get to the bottom of this.

She smirked as a thought came to her head.

Meanwhile,at the hospital,Amelia is seen sleeping soundly.

Drip connected to her body and some parts of her body bandaged.

She winced in pain,holding her head.

Her eyes flutered open.

She blinked.Where was she?

"Amelia."

She looked up to see Roman sitted, he rushed to her side.

"Are you fine? Do you need anything?"

He asked softly,caressing her hair.

She was stunned.

Why was Roman acting this way?

She cleared her throat.

"Water,please" he handed it to her,gazing at her with a look she couldn't decifer. Care?

She looked away.Slowly.She noticed the room she was in.

An VIP freaking ward?

She jerked up,almost hurting herself.

He was confused.

"Amelia?"

"I can't afford this place,I need to be discharged please."

"Dont worry about the bill" he muttered wondering why she was worked up.

"Just sit,you just woke up"

She immediately realised it was morning.

When his grandma woke up that morning,she sat by the window side.

She did not have much time left,Roman.

That was her worry. His sister had warmed up to their mother.

But not him,even after 4 years.

He still carried an hatred for what she had done 20 years back.

Abandoning her kids and running away with her lover.

The children were fatherless.

Their father divorced Celia,their mother when juli was 6 and he 10.

He was almost 26,he needed to settled down but she vowed to get him a good wife.

Not Carolina.

She was fake.

Rude. The first time Carolina meet her,she downgraded and insulted her.

Not knowing who she was obviously.

Why was her grandson hellbent on being with her?

Her door creaked open.

Celia stepped in,followed by juli.

"Grandma,good morning!" She spoke cheerfully.

"How are you feeling mother"

"I am fine" she replied looking outside.

As Roman stepped out of Amelia's ward,he sighted his sister and grandma.

Taking a stroll,with her grandma on a wheelchair.

Juli frowned wondering what he was doing there.

"Grandma. "He greeted stooping low to her eye level.

"How are you feeling now"

"Energetic. Did you come see someone?"

"Ermm,"

The ward door pushed open and a nurse came out.

"Sir,thank God you brought her early.We have given her the necessary medics. The test result will be out soon"

He nodded,thanking her before turning to his grandma.

"I.."he struggled to say the word.How will she feel.

This person hurt her and he was the one caring fir such person.

"You brought amelia here?!" Juli's outburst shocked her grandma.

"Do you have no shame! Someone that hurt grandma,placing her in this condition,you dare bring her to the hospital!"

"She fainted,she was bleeding to much juli-"

"I don't care! That bitch should just die!"

She yelled, Roman felt her behavior was unnecessary.

"Why are like this?" He wondered why she was acting like she had no human empathy!

"Who is amelia" Grandma soft voice cut through their argument.

"Grandma,its no one-"

"That stupid waitress poisoned you,grandma!she dared to kill you-"

"What!" Grandma's eyes widened.

That girl can't hurt a fly,how could she possibly hurt me??"

Roman was stunned.

Juliana face fell.

Grandma slowly turned to Roman.

"Take me to her!"
