Riley's pov

I tried to steady my breath as he finally pulled away, with ragged breaths. I looked away, my fists clenched hard between my legs, and the tears brewed while he tried to refocus on the driving.

I swallowed hard, biting my lower lip. I should have stopped him, pushed him away, slapped the hell out of him, but instead, my fingers dug through his hair, urging him on.

Mom said to do anything for Dad, right?

I sniffed the tears back.

This is just a sacrifice.

He cleared his throat. “This never happened.” With that, the engine blared to life, and he lounged into the busy road again.

I bit harder on my lips. Never happened? While my heart is racing? While I am feeling this way? How does this help with Dad if we are pretending it never happened?

My fists clenched harder. It can never be. “We’ll see what your dad would say about it,” I retorted.

He froze, his eyes widening as the words left my mouth.

Horns blared behind us before he swerved to the side of the road again.

My head throbbed as my eyes fluttered open to the orange sunlight streaming through the curtains, and I shifted against the sheets—only to realize something was wrong. A heavy weight pressed against me.I froze.Slowly, I turned my head.Lola.She stirred lazily, the sheets sliding down her bare shoulder, and just like that, the haze of sleep vanished.“Fuck,” I muttered under my breath, jerking upright. My chest tightened as the truth hit.I didn’t go home yesterday.Dad. Riley.“Shit.” I cursed again, scrambling for my clothes. The room was a wreck—clothes flung across the chair, the floor littered with half-empty glasses and condom wrappers.Yesterday was good, which is why I'd always recommend a foursome, but now I need to leave with just a fragile hope that Riley hasn't done anything stupid yet. My shirt was hanging from the lamp, and my shoes… hell, I couldn’t even spot them.Did Brian wear them?He had left by midnight with Noa and Khloe, saying that he had something to do whil

Riley's pov. I joined Devan in the car, hoping to distract him from the fact that it had already been twenty minutes and Killian still hadn’t shown up.“Is he here yet?” he asked immediately as the door opened. I sat in before responding.“No.” The word slipped out of my mouth dryly, like sandpaper. He kept to his word.I’m not a gem.He wouldn’t sacrifice anything for me.Or even choose me.So I read wrong. He didn’t want me—it was just the color of his eyes whenever he was horny, no matter who it was.The engine roared beneath me and my heart thudded in my chest.“We can still wait for a little while, you know, maybe for a family dinner afterwards,” I said, and his fists clenched tightly around the wheel. He’s holding back, I can tell.My gaze flickered back to the door and I almost squealed. He chose me.He wants me.Even if it’s not for love, he wants me.Killian strolled out of the door, dressed in joggers and a loose shirt. Just like Devan. I guess they share the same dress sen

The look on his face didn't falter, neither did a smile tug at any side of his lips.I blinked. He's not joking?“You are not joking?” I asked, wide-eyed, and he nodded. Like it was nothing, like he just ordered my favorite food without my permission.“We both never wanted this, but it started because we didn't know how to end it. Now we do… shouldn't we seize the opportunity?”I barely held back a scoff, taking a step back as everything slowly registered.Hold on…A soft knock on the door forced me to swallow the rest.“Yes?” I answered, shifting my gaze from him.“Mr. Devan is waiting for you.” Helen's voice echoed, and I shifted my attention entirely from Killian, heading to the door and answering, matching her smile. With the look on her face, you'd doubt she moaned that loud.“The last time I came, he sounded really busy,” I said, gaze intent on her, and she looked away. “I'll be done in a second,” I added, holding back the grin at how flushed she looked. If he fucks anything in

  • Pregnant for the Wrong Stepbrother    Chapter 34: Making her Mine.

Killian’s POVThe cold air coiled around me as I jumped out of the car, barely putting off the engine. My heart thudded in my chest as I punched in the numbers and the door opened.Moans? They echoed in my ears immediately as I stepped foot into the house. My fists clenched at my sides as I approached where it was coming from. The kitchen? He cornered her in the kitchen?I bit hard on my lower lip, my nails digging harder into my palm.He has taken her away from me.Just like he always does. The major reason I stopped bringing women home or having sleepovers — because by the next morning, they'd be running out of his bed.I also stopped them from visiting me, because they'd be spiraled on the couch by the time I walked in, begging for mercy, and I'd have to look away.Pretend I didn't see a thing.Never talk about it because I'm trying to please him.But now? Everything's ended. He has touched his last.Riley is mine.I'd give her anything she wants just to make her MINE.The sound of

Devan's pov. DEVAN'S POV (Killian's father)A sigh of relief escaped my lips as Helen stepped in from the kitchen and Riley finally took her leg off me. She had pretended not to care when Helen came in first. With one last look at the folds leaking through her shorts, and the patch I barely held back from sucking dry before making her limp for the rest of the day, I clenched my fists hard and stood up, turning away from her immediately.I barely took a second glance at Helen as I reached for the remote and turned off the television while shielding my bulge. Laura's moans and Massimo's grunts were passing the wrong message.“Riley darling, could you please excuse us for a second? I have business deals to talk about with Devan,” Helen said, with a fake smile plastered on her face.Thank goodness.Even if she wants to scold me, I'd take that more than being stuck hiding my bulge.“Oh, okay.” Her voice echoed innocently, like she hadn't been torturing me a minute ago.I didn't want to lo

  • Pregnant for the Wrong Stepbrother    Chapter 32; Her Stupid Plan

The waves hit hard as we stepped out of the car, approaching the towering black-glass building that loomed like a fortress against the night sky. One would think of it as entering a private bank, but it wasn't.It was our private space. Our HOME AWAY FROM HOME.No cameras, no nothing. No kissing, no telling.Just us.Who we are.Normal clubs or pubs would spill our name to the reporters for a few dollar notes while they made headlines, or some would even expose our faces for their publicity, but here? Nothing.Just us and the rest of everyone inside under an NPD.No kissing, no telling.Knox was already at the door waiting by the time we got there, a bottle of whiskey in his hand coupled with his signature smirk, like he owned the place. He lifted the bottle in a mock toast, eyes glinting under the dim lights. He walked closer, in a black top and leather white joggers. I noticed he had changed his hairstyle to a bold buzz cut but made no comment as we exchanged handshakes. And he patt
