Sophia immediately became aware of Thaddeus the moment she saw him. Her brother had instructed her to keep an eye on Thaddeus and not let him be alone with Jessamine.

After a few seconds of reaction, she immediately leaned over and sat on the couch, occupying the entire seat.

"Jacinda, I'm not leaving. You wouldn't want to see me homeless, right?"

Jessamine sighed and sat in her office chair.

Thaddeus's gaze swept over Sophia with his unpleasant expression. Just after driving away Jerome, here came Sophia. Could the Langston siblings just leave Jessamine alone?

He didn't say much in front of Jessamine, as there was a more serious matter to talk about.

"Jessie, here's your new phone."

He pushed the new phone he had bought that morning toward Jessamine. It was the latest model from a popular brand which was hard to get. Jessamine didn't know how he managed to get it.

"Thaddeus, you don't have to keep coming over to my place all the time. I can get Judith to buy this for me."
