Ren was silent the whole way home no matter what was going on around her. I hate that I can't hear her thoughts yet but after everything that she's been through I have to go at her pace. It is going to be really hard for me and onyx.
The rest of the night she didn't say a word to anyone. It didn't matter who was trying to talk to her, she just shut everyone out, everyone was starting to get really worried about her. Beth even walked up to me at one point and asked if there was anything I could do to help her, i told her there wasn't and that whatever was on her mind she either had to work through it on her own or she would talk to him or someone about it.

P.O.V. unknownWe failed to recapture the phoenix. Her abilities intrigued me. I met her once but she was out because of the wolfsbane she was injected with upon her arrival to Levi’s pack. P.O.V. renTo say I was calm about staying in a room with Jack would be a total lie. I was scared to death. I was scared of what could happen but excited all at the same time, yes I wanted him to mark me it was just all the other stuff that could happen with us staying in the same room in the same bed that kind of freaked me out.I sigh and turn off the water.
