Valentine kept silent all the time, feeling guilty. Her eyelids were becoming heavy and she wanted to sleep. Her head was resting on his side chest. She felt William move and watch him take out money from his pockets then hand it over to both of the bouncers.

They refused but he insisted. Not too long, he thanked them and brought Valentine to the front seat of his car. He leaned over to her and fastened her seatbelt tightly for security.
