“Here’s the paper today, Your Highness.” Joewella placed the newspaper in front of me as I slowly took a sip from my drink.
“It’s really weird to see milk inside the teacup instead of tea,” Eunice murmured quietly while frowning. I turned my head towards her and smiled sarcastically “Then close your eyes.” “Your Highness!” She cried in annoyance as I laughed out loudly. “You’ll get used to it in no time, Eunice.”
“But I should not. It should be you who must get used to drinking tea, Your Highness. Noble ladies serve and drink tea in parties, not milk!” “Aya!” I waved my hand in disapproval as I frowned. I know that but I can’t get over the taste of this expensive drink yet. I have four other siblings at home and we can’t afford to buy milk so I’m taking my time and enjoying every bit of it here.
