With a glow of hope burning in my heart, I broke the lock of the cage with all my remaining strength, while keeping an eye on those fighting rogues and the crowd of Grey Stone Pack, and then I turned around to escape.

I thought no one could spot me or care if I escaped.

Suddenly, a tall man burst out of the crowd. His body swelled and grew so fast that his clothes crumbled like confetti. Beautiful dark blue fur quickly covered his skin.

He turned into a huge, fierce wolf and charged toward me!

Damn it! I've been spotted by him!

Am I going to be killed by him? No! I do not want to die here yet! I have not gotten my revenge! I have to figure out what to do!

I stared warily at the huge wolf and raised my arms to protect my head.

I had to find a way to block his attack first.

The wind whistled in my ears, but I was not pounced on and torn to pieces by him.

What happened? He did not attack me?

My arms blocked my view and I could not see what was happening in front of me, but I did not unload my defenses easily. Because even a small oversight could cost me my life!

Suddenly there was a scream in my ears, and then something fell in front of me.

What did the hell happen?

Driven by curiosity, I was alert and slowly moved my arm away.

A rogue died on the ground next to me, blood pooling into a stream. His torso was viciously torn apart, and his abdominal organs were scattered like garbage. His bones were as fragile as thin twigs under Krew's attack.

He did not kill me. He... He killed the rogue who tried to attack me! Krew killed him as easily as he would have killed a puppy!

The dead attacker's eyes stared deadly at me, his lifeless eyes made me tremble, his body and blood reminded me of the day of the fire and the death of my parents in a pool of blood.

The terrible memories of that day appeared in my mind.

"Ah..."

I could not control a scream from inside my throat and kept backing up.

In front of me, the man who had caused all this was walking towards me step by step. Covered in blood and a vicious murderous aura, he walked up to me and leaned down to stare at me with a fierce gaze.

"Do not try to challenge me by running away. I do not have much patience for you."

Krew's POV

On the way back to Grey Stone Pack we were attacked by a group of rogues.

Damn! How dare they pick on a team led by an Alpha?

With the determination to make them all go to hell, I turned into a wolf and killed these rogues without a care in the world. Their flesh and blood were torn apart by me. Their bodies turned into scraps. Their blood flew into the sky.

A feast of death.

We soon finished off all these rogues, and the death of my enemies gave me comfort.

However, I did not expect the slave to have the courage to run away. She was really brave. What the hell was she thinking? Did she want to go back to continue being a dirty slave? This was beyond my comprehension.

"Do not try to challenge me by running away. I do not have much patience for you."

I warned her after tearing apart the enemy who presumed to attack my woman in front of my eyes while she cowered next to the cage shivering with fear.

I led the procession as it continued in the direction of my pack. As the sky grew darker and some figures gradually appeared ahead, I understood that I had arrived at the Grey Stone Pack, the pack that belonged to me.

"Krew, welcome home."

A middle-aged woman stood at the front of the crowd welcoming me as she walked toward me.

"Wynna, this is Orchid, my maid. Take her for a bath."

I frowned in disgust as I looked at Orchid and said, Wynna looked at me in surprise, "This lady is your new maid?"

"Of course," I said calmly.

This slave was weak and strange, and she wanted to back to Grey Pack after being treated so cruelly by Grey pack. To prevent her from escaping, I had to make her my maid and keep a strict eye on her!

"Oh, that is wonderful. I've been hoping for a suitable she-wolf to help me take care of you." Wynna curtsied toward me with a kind smile on her face, "I will go ahead and clean her up."

Then she took Orchid and left.

I breathed a sigh of relief, glad to have the scruffy woman out of my sight.

My nose was filled with the strange smell of her body, and I hoped she would become cleaner after her bath, or at least not affect my mood.

I sat down on the couch and stretched out before turning on the TV. The news of the day was playing on the TV, making me slowly forget about these troublesome things that were bothering me.

Comfort made the time pass quickly.

"Madam. Does this dress fit me?"

"Of course, Orchid! This dress is perfect for you! It looks perfect! I am sure you'll be a fine personal maid."

The women's voices came from behind me, and I subconsciously turned my head to look at them. The moment I saw the clean Orchid, my calm heart suddenly had a violent fluctuation.

This beauty stood in front of me. Was she the dirty slave?
