Chapter 35 – His confession
The next day, she started having the so-called morning sickness. It was concerning, if you ask Wayne. Personally, she feels as if something’s sucking her stomach out as she heaved over the sink. When she mentioned it, he had her eat some porridge before dragging her to the hospital. With his connections, requiring an appointment didn’t matter.
His first question was, “Is that normal?”
The female doctor smiled, “Yes, it’s very normal. I understand it’s your first pregnancy but it’s nothing to worry about.”
She then gave them a lecture on how to deal with it, the remedies, before moving onto giving them general reminders on what food to avoid at this time.
“Take note of the smells that triggers your nausea. It’s different for everyone, but the most common is a fishy smell.”
