Wayne didn’t reply to him. His thoughts are still somewhere else.
“Should we invite everyone over? Maybe for dinner, but let’s start early in the afternoon.” She suggested.
“Hmm.” He didn’t know what she said, but he agreed.
“When should we do it?” She wriggled in his embrace and made him face her.
His mind was a blank. Do what?
Seeing his confused expression, she rolled her eyes at him.
“When should we invite everyone for dinner? So we can tell them that we’re having a baby?”

“How about we wait after your next check up?” There was hesitation in his voice.
Andrea watched him closely. “Do you… do you think I’m not pregnant?”
She’s not sure how they could go from celebrating to doubting within minutes.
