Antalya's POV

I sat on my bed, my mind racing with everything Raymond had told me earlier. He'd promised to help, to find some way to get me out of this prison Dominic called home. My fingers unconsciously traced the mark on my neck, the one that bound me to my parents' killer.

Maybe this time it will work. Maybe Raymond can actually help me escape. He seemed so sure, so determined. But then again, everyone who tries to help me ends up hurt.

My door suddenly flew open, banging against the wall. I jumped, my heart racing, expecting to see Dominic. But it wasn't him.

Lacie stood in my doorway, her perfect blonde hair cascading over her shoulders, wearing a red designer dress that hugged every curve. Her lips were painted the same shade of red, twisted in a sneer.

What the hell is she doing here?

I got up immediately, confusion and anger mixing in my chest. "What are you doing in my room?" I demanded, moving toward her. "How did you even get in here? Get out!"

She walked in anyway, her he

Antalya's POVIt had been exactly one week since I arrived at camp, and today was ranking day. Everyone gathered in the main gymnasium, the tension in the air almost palpable as Coach Martinez prepared to announce our performance standings for the week.I wonder where I'll place, I thought nervously. I've been working hard, but so has everyone else."Before I announce the rankings," Coach Martinez said, holding a clipboard, "I want everyone to remember that these are based on overall performance - technical skills, teamwork, improvement, and attitude."The room was completely silent as she began reading from the bottom up. When she reached the top five, my heart started pounding."In second place," she announced, "Sarah Mitchell."I saw Sarah's face fall. She had clearly expected to be in first place, as she apparently had been for previous weeks."And in first place this week," Coach Martinez continued, "Antalya."First place? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I actually ranked

Chapter 102 - Antalya's POVThe past few days at camp had been a mixture of intense training and social isolation. My roommate Sarah continued to avoid me completely, shooting me hateful looks whenever our paths crossed. But I had decided to focus entirely on why I was here - to improve my hockey skills and prove myself worthy of the national team.I didn't come here to make friends, I reminded myself as I laced up my skates for morning practice. I came here to play hockey.Despite the hostility from Sarah's group, I had managed to connect with a few other players. Jessica and Amy, the girls who had tried to welcome me on my first day, remained friendly. There was also Maria, a quiet defender from the west coast, and Lin, an aggressive forward who appreciated my skating technique."Good morning, Antalya," Jessica said as I joined the group heading to the rink. "Ready for today's drills?""Always," I replied, grateful for her consistent friendliness."Don't get too excited," Maria warn

Dominic's POVI couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in my chest since dropping Antalya off at the camp. Every instinct I had was telling me to go after her, to make sure she was safe and being treated properly. But I had promised to give her space to prove herself. At least I took some precautions, I thought as I paced around my study. I had called Coach Martinez before Antalya even arrived, making it very clear that any mistreatment of my mate would have serious consequences."Coach Martinez," I had said during that phone call. "I'm calling about one of your new players, Antalya.""Yes, Mr. Alfonso. She seems like a talented addition to our program.""She is talented, and I expect her to be treated as such," I said firmly. "If I hear about any problems, any discrimination, or any unfair treatment, there will be consequences. Do I make myself clear?""Perfectly clear, sir. We pride ourselves on treating all our players fairly.""Good. See that you continue to do so."

  • Pucked by Alphas: The Omega Hockey Tomboy   CHAPTER 100

Antalya’s POVThe moment I stood there, staring at the two girls—Mika and Sarah—my blood was still rushing from the fight. My stick was steady in my hand, and everyone’s eyes were on me. I could see the disbelief on their faces, but I refused to step back.“You think I’ll just let this go?” I said sharply, my voice cutting through the silence. “You made a bet. You lost. Now fulfill it.”The crowd gasped. Some of them thought I’d laugh it off or play nice, but no. If I let this slide, they’d bully me every single day until I broke.Mika sneered, flipping her hair back. “What do you want? A thank you note for embarrassing us?”I folded my arms, smirking. “Not a thank you note. I want you on your knees. Apologize properly. Or do you want me to drag you down myself?”Sarah’s face turned red. “You’re crazy! Do you know who we are in this team?”“Two losers who just got crushed,” I shot back, mocking. “That’s who you are.”Some of the others snickered, enjoying the show. I could feel the en

Antalya's POVI stared at Sarah and Mika, trying to figure out if my suspicion was correct. If they had seen me with Dominic, I needed to know for sure so I could handle this situation properly."Is that really the only reason you're treating me like this?" I asked carefully. "Just because you think I don't belong here?"They exchanged another one of those looks, and I could see them hesitating."What other reason would there be?" Sarah said, but her voice sounded less confident than before."I don't know," I said, watching their faces closely. "Maybe you saw something that made you jump to conclusions about me?"Mika shifted uncomfortably. "We don't need to see anything to know your type."They definitely saw me with Dominic, I realized. But they're not willing to admit it directly."Look," I said, standing up straighter and trying to sound more confident than I felt, "I don't know what you think you know about me, but you're wrong. And if you try to physically stop me from doing any

  • Pucked by Alphas: The Omega Hockey Tomboy   CHAPTER 98

Antalya's POVThe awkward silence stretched on as I stood there with my bags, waiting for some kind of normal roommate interaction. But Sarah and Mika just stared at me like I was an unwelcome intruder. This is going to be a long few weeks if they keep acting like this, I thought. But I need to try to get along with them if I'm going to be living here."So," I said, trying to break the tension, "how long have you two been playing hockey?"They exchanged another one of those looks and didn't answer."Okay," I said, feeling more uncomfortable by the minute. "Well, I guess I'll just get settled in."I looked around the room, trying to figure out which bed was supposed to be mine. The room was clearly designed for two people - there were only two beds, two desks, and two small wardrobes. But they had mentioned a third roommate when I registered.Maybe they made a mistake with the room assignment, I thought. But I should still be able to stay here until they figure it out.I moved toward t
