Ava's POV

The noise in the stadium was insane. I could feel the liquid energy from the crowd. Fine, I was sitting at the front row that was less crowded than the bleachers at the back, but the energy was palpable.

Even the front rows that were reserved for the guests of the players that would not be usually filled up were all filled up. There was no way that you couldn't feel the way the crowd was going wild.

Liam's POV Epilogue Few years laterLife's good. Says me. I didn't know that there was a part of life where everything would be so perfect. Without having negative energy around it. And that has been my life for the past five years. I still can't believe that I was blessed with the utmost joy in life, which is a lovely family. I proposed to Ava in front of thousands of people after she finished her uni on the ice in front of everyone. I was so nervous. Even though I knew that we already spent time talking about having a life together forever, I still had this lingering feeling. What if? But then, she beat that and she became my wife. Her dad surprisingly was on board. Like very on board. He knew about our relationship the last championship game after what happened in front of everyone. He said and I quote, “You can't fight who you love.” And that was it for him. Then after he retired. That was his last game with us. Somehow, we knew that something like that would happen sooner

Ava's POV After the handshake ritual, they skated across the ice for a while since the game had not kicked off. Liam's eyes went to the crowd, as if he was looking for something or someone. He was looking for me. And I smiled from the butterflies that gave me. I was not sitting in the first row of the bleachers. Like on the fifth row, so I was not exactly in front. When his eyes found mine, even though he had his helmet on, I could see the way his eyes softened and before I could place what he was doing, he blew me a kiss. The people around me went wild. “Oh my God. Did you see that?! He looked directly at me!” The girl talking earlier screamed and I rolled my eyes. And I was tempted to tell her that was my man but I held it in. “Aww…you jealous?” Lana asked me on the top of her voice so that I would hear her and I turned to face her. “Who? Me? Nope. The man's mine. So I don't need that.” “Now that's the spirit.” She hyped. And we joined along with the crowd to shout as the ga

Even the front rows that were reserved for the guests of the players that would not be usually filled up were all filled up. There was no way that you couldn't feel the way the crowd was going wild. The final championship game was somehow a home game. And that alone is already giving the team a mad edge and I get because the last three championship games were held in other locations. So, probably it was the turn of our team now. The players were not on ice yet and there was like the ice performance thing going on right now. “I love the energy. Don't be stiff now.” Lana shouted beside me and I rolled my eyes. She was like an energy junkie and it was like she was given a dose of her medicine. “This is what you like.” I said to her and she laughed. I was anxious for the g

Ava's POV “What?! How did you even know that?” He asked amusingly. “I could guess. You've stuck with one fragrance since you went to college and nothing anyone could say would make you leave it. Now you smell different. If that's not the power of love, tell me what is.” I said in a sing-song voice. “Ava.” There was a warning in his tone and I raised both of my hands up in surrender. “Alright. Alright.” I laughed. “He models for the brand and said he had a little too much so he gave it to me. It's not a big deal.” I could not stop smiling but then, I decided to stop teasing him. “I've heard you. So yeah. What's up? Why did you call me out of my cocoon?” I asked him, trying to make him more comfortable back. “I wanted to see you and ask how you are doing. Hope all is going well for you?” He asked and I cocked my head to the side again. “Are you sure about that?” I asked. “Pretend to be clueless for a second.” He said and I bursted into a fit of laughter. “Alright fine.” Just

Ava's POV They won the qualifying games for the finals and I was so stoked and hyped for them. It did not only mean a lot for the team, it meant a lot for the people around too and the fans. It was insane how some simple actions could actually go a long way to do a little of good more than evil. The team was gaining traction again since Liam was back on the team. They were all saying online that the main reason for the comeback of the team was because Liam was put back and if they did they would have dropped from the season from this particular match. I did not believe that but then, a teeny weeny little bit of me believed that too. Who knows what could have happened? A lot of things were happening at the same time that I could not wrap my head around. Liam and I were still under the wraps. And I knew that it was only a matter of time before everyone knew about us again. Including my father. I don't know why I was not surprised when I saw my brother's call this evening to see me

Ava's POV “I do not blame you. I blame myself for not putting him behind bars earlier.” He clasped my hands in his careful not to hit my IV. “But this is the last he would do. I'm just pissed that he had to hurt you for it to click to me that he would be spending his days behind bars.” He said looking into the depth of my soul. “Thank you. Thank you for taking me seriously to make sure that I'm not hurt.” He said in a vulnerable tone that made me want to cry for him. “It's okay. I love you and that's all that matters.” I told him. “I love you too. I'm so glad that you're fine. I don't know what I would do if something happened to you.” He said, this time around, he placed his head on my lap “I'm here and I'm fine.” I told him gently and pulled my hand through his hair. ****Moments after, a police man walked in and started to ask me questions about how it all happened. O explained every single detail and told them how he ambushed me and he almost molested me. That alone got the
