Chapter 49.2 - Ice Playground

When Julio opened a large old door, Pine was flabbergasted. How come? It turned out that behind this big old door there was a room filled with ice. Cold but very beautiful.

"Surprised...?" Kevin laughed, "This is my playground. I used to spend time here."

"Or rather run away and escape here," said Julio.

Pine laughed amusedly, she enjoyed what she saw, momentarily forgetting her worries. A room covered in ice, blocks of ice with candles burning on them, and a large ice door with engraved ice crystals. All of which amazed Pine.

The moment Julio opened the huge ice door, Pine was even more stunned. She was confronted by a small church, pews made of ice, and the bluish light emanating from this ice made her speechless.

In front of them was a priest who was waiting for them all, ready to give a wedding blessing to Pine and Kevin. They approached the priest.

Pine leaned closer to Kevin and whispered, "Is he human?"

"Yes. He's a human who works under the Raltz Clan."
