chapter 6.6

Xavier’s POV

' OMG! Daisy Hills! My bubbly cute and beautiful wife shouts immediately after she has recovered from her shock of seeing Daisy in our house.

I am personally even surprised to see my sister this early at my house.

I wish to instantly ask her what she is doing here at this early hour and that if she has no good reason, the she can leave.

I mean, who goes to people's house this early?

Daisy! Yeah only she would do something like this.

To be honest, I am not even amazed by the actions of Zarie one bit.

I even expected a more intense reaction from her.

I have been experiencing such reactions from people, especially teenage girls whenever I step out with my sister.

It is sometimes so infuriating.

I mean, who would not be stars trucked if you wake up one day and whiles having your breakfast, you realize there is a pop star at your house.

Plus Daisy is one of the most famous pop stars who has so many fans going gaga over her, most of them being girls of course.

But when I see Zarie trying to get up from her seat, obviously having the idea of going close to Daisy which I know she will regret later, I tell her to sit down.

"sit" I tell her with a stern voice and keep on a poker face.

So many years spent been the C.E.O of my fathers company has awarded me with this stoicness.

I very well know that Zarie may be hurt by my actions towards her right now but I have to do it for her own good.

I have to do it to save her from any pending embarrassments.

Even though my sister seems nice and sociable to her fans, the real her does not like the idea of people been too close to her or even touching her things.

So even if I may seem like the devil right now to Zarie, I know what I am doing what is best for her.

The little hours spent with her, I have noticed how she gets abashed easily and I would not like her embarrassing herself, trying to be all friendly towards my sister.

" ummm... so I guess I have an introduction to make? ". I say, looking at Daisy but it comes out as question rather.

"of course you do brother" Daisy responds,a smirk playing on her lips.

Okay so I guess since she has a smile on her face, she is in a better mood today.

That is good. At least, things will be less awkward for Zarie.

I just hope that her good mood will be extended to my wife too.

"Zarie, meet my sister, Daisy and as for you,' I trail off, looking at my still smiling sister.

"I can clearly guess that you have already heard something about her.’ I say as I point a finger at my wife, who seems to not have recovered yet from her starstruck state.

"Hello sister in-law" my sister says to Zarie, extending her hands for a shake.

Zarie on the other hand just stares at her with that look of hers that always amuses me.

Whenever she is amazed at something, she stares at it like it is the only thing that matters in the world with her mouth slightly agape.

To some, it may seem stupid but it always stirs something in me.

I mean all the little things that she does seems to fascinate me a bit.

I mean, yesterday when I went to pick her up from her place, I did not expect to see such a beauty.

She has a beautiful face and has all the curves in their right places.

I know by her actions yesterday that she did not expect me to be that sweet and frisky towards her and she has all the reasons to be surprised because to be honest, I am personally surprised by my actions yesterday.

I can’t and will not say I am a bad person but that is how the media has labeled me.

A bad boy, arrogant and cold playboy

And in as much as those are false, I still do not see the reason why I have to even clear myself because that is what the public seems to like so I give them what they want.

I go on dates with girls whom I have never even allowed into my this house.

I just bought this house because the apartment I was Living in was just an apartment fit for a bachelor and since I would be having another company, I decided to purchase something big.

I know how the HM company have been going downwards nowadays so when Maribel suggested I should help her, I decided to do it but I did not even know that marriage was even involved Untill my parents told me.

Before I got to know about the terms and conditions of the contract, I had already agreed to it so there was no backing out but what worried me was the fact that the girl was only an eighteen year old college girl turning nineteen in some few months, which makes me three years older than her but it is okay, seeing that she will be graduating soon.

I have also been thinking to ask her if she would like to graduate more earlier than she is expected to.

I do not want to look too old in this marriage so it is only fair if she completes college and starts to work on whatever thing she wants to do.

Woah! Hold your horses there buddy. You are already sounding like a real husband.. It is just a five year contract so get a grip on yourself. The annoying voice at somewhere in my head which seems to oppose to my every thought retorts but I just brush it off almost immediately as it appears.

'huh'? I hear Zarie ask with that same expression on her face.

That reminds me that I have not really told her anything personal about me or my family.

Before I can make any further explanation, I hear a loud thud which makes me immediately shift my sight to where the noise is coming from.

But I am even more surprised at what I am seeing than me seeing my sister in my dining hall early in the morning.

"what the.."
