Chapter 17: Slumber Party
Just when our lips were about to collide, a phone suddenly rang and I was guessing it was Mason's; I left mine inside the car. The anticipation I had vanished, and he quickly pulled away from me. Slipping his hand in the pocket of his slocks, he pulled his phone out and answered the call.
I didn't actually plan to kiss Mason on our first date, I just thought that I should go with the flow and see where it would lead. I found him hard to resist, and if I instantly gave in, then the thrill would be over and he wouldn't be anticipating it.
After a few minutes, he'd dropped the phone and slid it back inside his pocket. Looking at me, he ran a hand at the back of his neck before he said, "Sorry for that."
