Prologue

The hall was filled with playful banters and enthusiastic chuckles of teenagers who were never fond of going back to school. It was stressful for them, and the summer break didn't do them any good. Though enthusiastic, they couldn't get off the fact they were thrown in this dungeon again. Not that Kingsley High was a bad school and students were not disciplined, they continuously whined about the principles that seemed to rob their liberation— or at least that's how they perceived it.

Unlike any other schools, Kingsley High had a reputation they had to uphold— their high standards made them distinct. Ranging from great athletes to students with high IQ, they'd had some fair share of competitions they never failed to prevail. That's what made them attract more parents to enroll their children in such an expensive school: a good reputation.

Kingsley High was indeed a prestigious school. This made wealthy businessmen and politicians entrust their kids to them. And the Devarauxs weren't excluded.

"Have you heard about the mayor enrolling his daughters in Kingsley?" one of the students, Freya, began to babble.

"What about it?" Caleb, the one who was sitting beside the glass pane of the cafeteria, spoke. He was clasping his phone, his gaze was attached to the screen as his thumb draw traces on them.

"I heard they're so smart, rich, and gorgeous," Freya gossiped further, as she tucked a piece of hot fry in her mouth.

"No one really cares." Caleb's apathetic tone caused Freya to furrow her brows.

"It's not just that," the other one with blonde locks cascading to her waist, uttered. "That means we will be in competition. I can't bear losing the chance of ranking number one this year," Jillian said, agitated.

The school system of Kingsley caused students to be anxious about new-comers. Oldies were never fond of new ones for they only think about the competition.

"Who are them?" Caleb asked, his tone was full of distaste.

"The Devaraux sisters."

  • Queen Of Ace   Christmas Special

A/NThis is a bonus chapter for “Queen Of Ace” and probably the last part of this novel. Since I wanted to write a chapter related to Christmas, I came up with an idea to write a Christmas-themed chapter as the very ending. This is still related on Queen Of Ace and the characters are still the same.

  • Queen Of Ace   Epilogue

The second semester had already started and all of the students were now crowding the hallway. We had taken a long break from all the crazy things that happened during the first semester. The dramas diminished, people left, new students entered the school, and hopefully, new beginning. This was the start of something new, something ecstatic and something that would fill everyone with anticipation. I was ready for this day like I was before, and this time, we came back to not start drama, but to fix all the things that should be resolved before we’d taken a break.

  • Queen Of Ace   Chapter 121: You Made It

We all headed in our lockers to shower and change our own clothes to wash off the sweats in our body. As we left the field, almost everyone greeted me congratulations and I felt overwhelmed by the attention that I was getting. Right after Mason asked me to be his girlfriend, I didn’t feel like hesitating, not because of the pressure the attention I was getting dawned on me, but the fact that I wanted Mason to be mine. I took back what I said before that I wouldn’t look at him the same way as I looked at Liam. I took back what I said that we would just remain friends. I took back what I said at the moment when I was still in a relationship with someone else. I took back everything and it was relieving. I got to express my feeling and I didn’t hold back with having the new beginning that I had been longing. I knew Mason was the one for

  • Queen Of Ace   Chapter 120: Champions

It was already the most anticipated day of all the students in Kingsley: the football rematch. We had been training for this the whole day and I couldn’t wait to perform our chants in front of everyone. We were inside of the girl’s locker room, changing to our cheerleader outfit, applying makeup on our face, and tied a ribbon around our high ponytail. Black and white had been the theme color of the Panthers and we decided to change our outfit and gone a little creative so we would stand out. We added some flitters to our uniform and tassels around our skirts to make a beautiful effect when we would perform our cheers. I also told everyone to put a touch of glitter in their makeup so we would be dazzling throughout the game.

  • Queen Of Ace   Chapter 119: Lounge Room

My body still hurt from what happened between me and Mason yesterday in their house. And going to school with a body ache, the Aspirin doing nothing to calm the pain in my body, I had almost regretted the temporary bliss I felt that day. I could hardly concentrate during the exam and my body wouldn’t cooperate during the training. I could barely do a proper stunt and Coach Adriana felt a little worried that I might fail to do the stunt tomorrow when the football game started. We all had been anticipating the special day and I assured Coach Adriana that I would be executing the stunt flawlessly when the football game started. We’d finished all the examinations needed and we proceeded to our training. We had a few dry runs of our new chants and choreography, but through those runs, we barely had mistakes which was a good sign. This just meant

  • Queen Of Ace   Chapter 118: Turn You On

Warning: This chapter contains an explicit sex scene.~*~I had anticipated Danny’s retaliation once he saw Nicholas and that shouldn’t be a surprise. But the fact that it was the first time that I’d seen Danny beyond ma
