CHAPTER 3: HORSE SHOW

You know, I've been in this University my whole life that I've known every thing going on in here, how the system works, the CCTV cameras, the time of the guards to eat their lunch, some professors and their love relationship to others.

But hey, don't call me a creep, I'm just curious on what's going on in here okay? Don't jump into conclusion.

"So are you gonna eat that?" I asked Nathalie while pointing my fingers at her french fries.

"Aren't you full? I mean you ate Cora's spaghetti, my whole burger, Jordan's egg sandwich and now you're gonna eat Nathalie's french fries?" Rhea asked like it was impossible for me to eat all of their food.

Listen, don't blame it on me okay? Blame it on my fast metabolism. I look at Rhea and gave her a sheepish grinn.

"We've been friends for so long Rhea, you're still not used to me being like this, I'm offended," I joked and pout at her.

Both Jordan and Cora laughed while Nathalie just pushed her french fries on my direction and I can't help but smile widely. Nathalie is really an angel sent from heaven.

"Thank you Nathalie, you're so kind, except for someone her who doesn't understand my true nature," I said as I picked one of the fries and stuffed it in my mouth.

"I heard you, you know," Rhea said.

"You were meant to," I said and my attention went back on that fries.

"Ooh, a hottie at twelve o'clock," Jordan said and look at that direction.

It's the same guy who was rude earlier, the one who didn't utter a word.

I forgot to mention, Jordan Navarro is gay, yes, a good looking one I say. Jordan and I were besties since I came here, we just kinda feel the connection between us you know? Like there's someone telling me that; 'Yow bitch be friends with that gay over there' and I did.

"Hey, I know him, isn't he from the neighboring University? You know? Blood Dawn?" Nathalie suddenly said.

Blood Dawn, seems familiar, but the name is giving me the creeps.

"Blood Dawn? You mean that place where there's full of good looking Adams?" Jordan asked Nathalie and we all look at him.

"What?" He innocently asked.

Well, what did you expect from this extrovert gay? Be quite while thinking wild about boys? I don't think so.

"Jordan, please control your gay hormones for once," Rhea said and Cora just laughed.

"To answer your question Jordan, the answer is yes, the population in that place is ninety percent male and ten percent female," Nathalie answered intellectually.

Nathalie is what you call a geek, nerd and a mystery enthusiast. She's freaking smart and she wants to be a lawyer so, yeah, I think that'll be an easy task for her.

"Wow, poor girls, I think I want to transfer to that University, for the sake of the girls ofcourse," Jordan said and Rhea smack his head.

"You gay!" We all chorused.

"And I'm proud of it!" Jordan shouts and we all laughed not minding some nosy students looking at us.

"But damn, he's a hot stuff, oh and look, his friends and like juicy barbeque ribs," Cora whispered as her attention is glued at the guy I met earliers' direction.

I also look at where he is, and she's not wrong about his friends, their freakishly good looking, but I've never seen them around before, and it's triggering my curiosity.

"Don't mind them, they kinda spell trouble," Rhea said with a disgusted look.

Does she hates bad boy looking guys? Yes, she does, and I don't know that reason if you'll ask me.

"I agree Rhea, they look like they've killed somebody," Nathalie said and she take a sip on her orange juice.

As Nathalie said those words, my heart beat increased and I feel a little bit dizzy.

"Sums, are you all right? Why are you sweating?" Jordan asked with a worry voice and the rest of them looks at me.

"You okay?" Rhea sounds worried.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," I answered while breathing heavily.

I don't know what's gotten into me, maybe it triggered something from my past? But I don't know, I wasn't diagnosed with amnesia or something that has related to the brain.

"You don't look okay," Cora said with a serious face.

That made my blood boil, why can't she understand that I'm okay? Do I have to spell it out for her?

"Look, I'm fine, just continue what you guys were talking about,"I'm getting irritated.

"Scratch that, my cousins have been watching my little pony," Rhea said changing the topic.

"Really? That's nice, they'll learn a lot of nice stuff in that show," Nathalie said.

"Yeah, Like how to make friends and stuff," Cora add.

"Isn't that the show where all the characters are horses with horn and wings?" Jordan asked unsurely if he's wrong or correct with those creatures that are in the show.

Come to think of it, I also watched that show, it's true that they're horses with wings.

"And what do children get from that show?" Jordan added.

"Dude, it's a horse show, they will probably teach the young ones about good manners, friendships and some other nice shits, remember, every horse show is full of friendship," This time it is i who said that.

"Guys, they're not horse, they're unicorns and pegasus and ponies—" Rhea didn't finished what she was about to say because i cut her off.

"And ponies are tiny little horses with long hair and short tiny legs," I said.

"So it's basically a show full of hybrid horses," Jordan laughs and I joined him.

"Don't you guys know the difference between unicorn and a horse?" Cora asked with her raised eyebrow.

"Ofcourse we do, don't we, Jordan?" I asked Jordan with a grinn and he nods vigorously like he was head banging.

"Absolutely, a unicorn is a horse with a horn, and a horse is a unicorn without a horn," Jordan proudly answered and I gave him an applause.

The three girls just face palms, well, it's a good thing that I listened to that voice that says; 'be friend with that gay.'
