MELISSA’S POV

“So, do you feel better now?” He asked, snapping me back to reality.

“Y…yeah. I do. Thank you.”

“Alright, let’s get you back home.”

I was grateful in my heart as he had offered me a ride, because I still felt destabilized over what had happened.

“Thanks for the ride.” I said, with a slight smile.

“You are welcome. Take good care of yourself.”

I went inside, straight to my bedroom and stared at the ceiling for a while.

“She deserved that, anyways.” I muttered under my breath and held the duvet tight and slept off.

The next day, I got ready for work and when I got into the office, I met everyone, gathered in a circle.

“Good morning everyone.” I greeted, walking towards them.

“Morning, Melissa. Let’s have you here as well.” Diana said, looking at me calmly.

“Now, Melissa, I understand your pain, regarding the gown that was put into the shredder. It was hard work and effort, it was wrong of Alicia to do that. And I have spoken to her about it. Alicia?”
