When he grabbed my neck, I thought he was going to kill me. Memories of Richard's assault flooded my mind and tears filled my eyes. I could hardly breathe. When he eventually let go of my neck, I collapsed to the floor, gasping for air. He walked into the bathroom, not concerned that he almost killed me a while ago.
