Quinn's POVI wake up earlier than Killian, he is sleeping beside me peacefully, with his hand wrapped protectively around me. He looks amazing, his soft breathing fanning my face. I turn to take him in, he is gorgeous. I wonder how free we have been with each other; in bed though. I stretch my hand to touch his face but I stop myself. there is nothing between us, so I have to stop myself from falling for him. It isn't a good idea. We had our night, yes, but that was it. Quinn's POV “I have to go now, Quinn.” Killian says the moment he drops me in my house. He doesn't even get in. I don't blame him though, he doesn't have anything with me, though. Quinn's POV I wake up to the sound of machines beeping. I am laid on a bed facing up. Both my hands are pinned to my side. My body feels so heavy, my head hurts. My mouth is so bitter. I try looking around, but I am all alone. The last thing I remember is that I was going to see a doctor. Did I lose consciousness? Because there are blank spaces in my memory. “You are awake ma'am, how are you feeling?” A really old doctor asks. Despite being old, he looks so strong. Killian “Alpha the procedure is done now.” The doctor says after a couple of hours in the theater ward. I feel so bad for Quinn, all this happened because of me. I had to do it though because if I didn't, the baby would have killed Quinn. I am an Alpha, and she is human, having a baby together is like an abomination.
