Talia's POV

The first sign that made me certain that Aurelia would live was her healing scar, and I broke down in tears and cried when I saw it happen.

The Alpha had called me over to see it.

The wound was closing slowly given our natural healing powers, but it was closing, with the pink flesh shutting itself up neatly and leaving a scar that was almost invisible behind. The rest of Aurelia, however, showed no signs of life, so that she remained as she was—naked and still.
