CHAPTER 63: A MOLE IN THE PACKHOUSE

I was in my grey armour with my sword hugged at my right side at my waist.

Entering the ship, my eyes landed on the girl who was curling herself like a ball.

She looked in pain as she held her head like that.

“What's wrong?” My voice came out caringly and I immediately regretted talking to her.

“I-I am okay.” Those were the only words that could come out of her mouth.

But she was a terrible liar because I could already see through her that she wasn't okay.

“What happened?” I didn't want to ask but I found myself asking.

“N-nothing.”

“You are lying.”

“It doesn't matter if I lie to you or not.” She blurted out like water and I gulped.

“Besides, you are planning on killing me in the most terrible way possible, why should I care?” Her words made me walk to where she was and sat beside her and she cowed away.

“I never thought you could be this rude. You are always pretending to be innocent.” I playfully stated but she didn't respond.

Weirdly, I wasn't angry with her.
