LOGINPART 6
The sound of applause echoed through the room right after Natasya gave her command.
Clap… clap… clap…It was Edgar. Roby’s younger brother finally moved.
He had been standing quietly in the corner the entire time, silently observing everything. Now he stepped forward, a calculating smile spreading across his face.
“Bravo, Natasya,” he said softly yet clearly. “You truly are an extraordinary woman.”
Everyone turned to look at him.
Natasya’s gaze slowly shifted in his direction. Her eyes were still blazing with the anger that had reached its peak.
“What a pity,” Edgar continued, his voice turning bitter as he glanced at Roby, his own brother. “Your husband is the kind of man who doesn’t know how to appreciate what he has.”
“Edgar!” Camila snapped sharply.
She had no idea what Edgar was trying to imply.
But Edgar didn’t care.
“I’ve always wondered,” he said, staring straight at Roby, “why you used to say that Natasya didn’t have much time left to live.”
So it’s true? Roby had already given up on my fate? Natasya thought, her heart feeling as if it had stopped beating.
“What do you mean?” she asked quietly.
Roby instantly turned pale. “Shut your mouth, Edgar!”
“Shut my mouth?” Edgar let out a hollow laugh. “Weren’t you the one who kept showing that sorrowful face? You said Natasya’s condition wasn’t promising. You said maybe it would all be over soon.”
Natasya’s trembling gaze shifted toward Roby.
“But it turns out…” Edgar’s voice softened, yet it only made his words cut deeper, “while you were pretending to grieve, you were with Larisa… inside Natasya’s bedroom.”
Silence fell.
Larisa froze when she saw Natasya’s face turn crimson with fury.
Even though she had already known the truth, hearing it come directly from Edgar’s mouth made Natasya’s anger flare even higher.
She imagined herself lying helplessly in the hospital, while her husband brought another woman onto her own bed.
Thud!
Roby lost control.
“Edgar!” Silva screamed when the punch landed squarely on Edgar’s face.
Just like Camila, Silva didn’t understand why her husband was acting so recklessly.
“Don’t you dare mess with me, Edgar!” Roby shouted furiously.
Edgar staggered backward.
“This time you’ve finally met your match, Roby!”
He struck back without hesitation.
Thud!!!
“Roby!” Larisa shrieked hysterically.
Now both Edgar and Roby were bleeding.
“Stop! Both of you, stop!” Camila cried, desperately trying to separate them.
The room descended into chaos.
“Edgar, have you lost your mind? Roby has helped you so much all this time! Why are you fighting like this?” Camila shouted frantically.
Natasya pressed her fingers against her temple. Her head throbbed painfully.
“Enough…” she whispered weakly.
“Have you forgotten, Edgar? It was Roby who paid all your bills!” Camila yelled again.
“ENOUGH!” This time Natasya screamed louder, her voice trembling yet commanding, slicing through the noise and forcing everyone to freeze in place.
Everyone fell silent.
Natasya looked at Roby’s entire family one by one.
So this lazy man hasn’t changed at all?
Still drowning in debt, and Roby paying it off with company money?Good. It’s better if all these parasites disappear from my sight.
“Get out now. Leave my house.”
Camila immediately went hysterical. “We are not leaving! This is Roby’s house too!”
“Roby’s house?” Natasya gave a bitter smile. “This house belongs to my father. And now it belongs to me.”
“If it’s your house, then it’s Roby’s house too! You are husband and wife! Remember that!”
Camila was provoking Natasya’s anger again.
“Nonsense!” Natasya snapped. “Your son is the one living off me, and starting today, I will not tolerate parasites like you! Leave! Mr. Danil, do your job!”
“Yes, Ma’am.”
Mr. Danil signaled to his bodyguards. There were ten of them standing firmly behind him.
They immediately began escorting everyone out of Natasya’s house by force.
“I don’t want to be homeless! Let me go!” Camila screamed.
Of everyone being forced out, only Camila was hysterical.
Natasya noticed a nanny carrying a one-year-old baby girl.
Gabriel, Larisa and Roby’s child.
The pain in Natasya’s heart resurfaced.
“Natasya, you can’t do this to me! I’m your mother-in-law! Don’t you have any compassion? Let me go! I don’t want to leave!” Camila shouted desperately.
Roby’s entire family had already been forced outside by Danil’s bodyguards when a car suddenly stopped in front of the house.
From the car stepped out an eight-year-old boy.
“Mom!”
That cry made Natasya freeze.
A small voice she had longed to hear for so long.
Erik stood at the doorway, his innocent face filled with confusion.
“Erik…” Natasya opened her arms to welcome him into her embrace.
“Mom…”
Erik ran toward her and hugged her tightly.
Natasya’s body trembled. She returned the embrace as if she were afraid they would be separated again.
“Erik…” her voice broke. “My son…”
“Mom, I missed you,” Erik whispered softly, holding back tears. “Dad said… maybe I wouldn’t be able to see you again. Dad said you were going to die.”
Tears streamed down Natasya’s face uncontrollably.
“No, my love. I will always be here. I’m not going anywhere. I’m still alive. I’m not going to die.”
Natasya gently wiped the tears from Erik’s face.
Oh God, how I missed my son.
“We’re going to be together again, right, Mom?” Erik asked uncertainly. “Mom, you’re not going to leave again, are you?”
“Yes, my love,” Natasya answered, kissing his forehead. “We will be together again. Forever.”
Natasya hugged Erik once more, tears streaming down her face.
Thank You, God.
You healed me so I could hold my son, Erik, again.Erik gently pulled away from the embrace, confused as he looked around at the chaotic scene—especially when he saw his father being forced out.
“Wait! Let go of my dad!”
Erik pushed one of Danil’s bodyguards with his small hands.
“Mr. Danil, why is my dad being told to leave? This is Mom’s house, right?”
Danil drew a deep breath.
“Natasya?”He seemed to be asking Natasya to explain it to Erik.
“Mom, why is Dad being kicked out?”
Erik looked up at his mother with pleading eyes.
“My love, your dad can’t stay here anymore.”
“But why, Mom?”
“Because…” Natasya couldn’t continue. She didn’t have the heart to say it.
“Mom, I already lost you for so long. I don’t want to lose Dad too.”
Natasya shook her head slowly.
“I want Dad and Mom to live in this house. Like before.”
Erik’s words shattered Natasya’s heart into pieces.
We can’t be together like we used to, Erik.
If only Natasya could say that out loud. But when she looked into Erik’s innocent eyes, she couldn’t bring herself to hurt him.
“I miss us eating together,” Erik continued softly. “I miss sleeping with Dad and Mom.”
Natasya fell silent. Her heart knew better than anyone how much she missed those days too.
But now, she could never return to that life after discovering Roby’s betrayal.
“Mom…” Erik held her hand tightly. “I want Dad to stay here, please?”
Natasya closed her eyes for a moment.
For her son.
“Alright,” she finally said. “Your dad can stay here.”
Roby let out a relieved sigh.
However, Natasya looked at him coldly.
“Mr. Danil, release Roby. The others must still leave.”
Larisa flinched.
Does that mean I’ll be separated from Roby? What about Gaby?
Natasya turned to Roby.
“You may stay here as Erik’s father. Nothing more.”
“Then… I have a condition as well,” Roby said quietly.
Natasya stared at him in disbelief. “A condition?”
“I want Larisa to stay here too, along with Gaby.”
Natasya’s eyes widened.
“Have you lost your mind, Roby? You’re asking me to accept your mistress into my own house?”
“If you refuse to accept Larisa and Gaby, then I won’t stay in this house either.”
Natasya should have realized that Roby had changed into a cunning man.
Eight years of marriage meant nothing compared to his love story with Larisa.
“For God’s sake, Natasya! Gaby is still a baby. I can’t live in luxury while my child and her mother become homeless out there.”
Natasya stood frozen.
Erik, sensing his mother’s hesitation, gently shook her arm. “Mom?”
Natasya inhaled deeply.
“I will do anything to make you happy.”
Looking straight at Roby, she spoke.
“Fine,” she said softly, shocking everyone in the room.
“You may bring Larisa and Gaby to live here. But on one condition!”
PART 40The black car moved slowly along the cooling asphalt, keeping a safe distance from the luxury sedan ahead.Behind the impenetrable tinted glass, the man in dark sunglasses observed every movement with the calm precision of a predator. His target was clear: Natasya—the woman Larisa wanted erased from this world by this very afternoon.“For you, Larisa… I’ll give you anything you want. But after this, you will belong to me.”The memory of Larisa’s body in his arms replayed vividly in his mind.No wonder he had fallen for her.To him, Larisa was perfect—far more perfect than his barren wife.“Don’t rush… enjoy the game first,” he muttered, steering the wheel with one hand.Up ahead, Natasya’s car exited the office district, cutting through the early evening traffic. The hired gun s
PART 39The room felt suffocating—not because of the air, but because of the decision Larisa had just made.In that cheap hotel, Larisa had given up her dignity. She allowed herself to be touched again and again by a man she did not love.“You really are beautiful, Larisa.”Sweat clung to her smooth, alluring skin. She closed her eyes for a moment, her breath rising and falling as she tried to steady the storm raging inside her chest, threatening to tear her apart. All of this… was for Gaby. While the man continued to indulge himself, letting out low, satisfied sounds, Larisa cursed silently in her heart. In her mind, the image of Natasya dying in agony played over and over again.“Thank you for that, darling. You know, I’ve admired you for a long time.”Larisa turned her face away.
PART 38Life went on, even though grief was still clearly visible on Larisa’s face and deep in her heart. That morning, Larisa finally came out of her room after spending several days in silence, constantly thinking about Gaby, her daughter.“I’m glad you finally decided to come out of your room.”Camila felt a little relieved. Her sense of guilt slowly began to fade.“I’m sure you and Roby can still have another child to replace Gaby.”“Gaby cannot be replaced, Mom.”Camila immediately realized she had said the wrong thing.“I know. But staying in grief won’t bring Gaby back. What I mean is…”“Mom, that’s enough. It’s time for breakfast.”Roby quickly interrupted. He didn’t want Larisa to fall back into her sorrow.“I made porridge for you,” Camila said as she placed the meal in front of Larisa.Larisa sat still without moving. She stared at the porridge with no interest at all. Her eyes looked empty.Beside her, Camila and Roby exchanged glances, trying to find a way to help Larisa
“Larisa, watch your words! Remember, we still need Natasya for our future,” Roby whispered, reminding her.“Calm yourself, Larisa. Leave everything to God. Let Him deliver justice if she truly is the culprit,” Camila said wisely.Behind her concerned expression, Camila let out a quiet sigh of relief, her plan had gone smoothly without a hitch. That morning, while everyone was busy handling the funeral arrangements, she had slipped back home and destroyed the CCTV hard drive in the study. She was indeed grieving the loss of Gaby, her granddaughter. But Camila loved herself more. She had no intention of going to prison just because her poison had hit the wrong target.**That night, in the grand house, the atmosphere felt tense and chilling—just like its owner.Natasya sat in the living room, waiting for Roby, who had just returned after escorting Larisa to her room to rest.“Come in,
CHAPTER 36: Tears on the Red Soil“How could I not be afraid? My grandchild is fighting for her life in there, and yet the two of you—his wife and his first love—are still busy tearing each other apart.”“Ex-wife, Camila. I will soon be your son’s ex-wife.”Natasya snorted in annoyance.“That can be discussed later. For now, we should pray together, so Gaby will be okay.”Natasya chose to sit in the waiting chair.Even though she had no real place here, she still wanted to know the child’s condition—the child born from her husband’s affair with Larisa.“Larisa, sit down.”Roby guided his mistress to sit not far from Natasya. The two women locked eyes, the air thick with hostility.“I will never forgive you, Natasya, if my daughter doesn’t survive. Remember that.”Larisa hissed threateningly.Meanwhile, Natasya remained silent, her gaze calm. She turned to Roby.Instantly, Roby released his embrace from Larisa.Natasya only gave a faint, condescending smile. She didn’t care even if Ro
The car driven by Roby sped through the still-empty morning streets. In the backseat, Larisa kept shaking Gaby’s tiny, limp body."Hurry, Roby! Gaby is so cold! She won't open her eyes!" Larisa screamed, her voice hoarse."Be patient, Larisa! I’m already speeding! Try to keep calling her name!" Roby replied, his face pale and drenched in cold sweat. He couldn't let anything terrible happen to his daughter."Gaby, wake up, sweetheart... Don't scare Mommy. Come on, open your eyes!" Larisa’s sobs filled the car's cabin. As soon as they reached the emergency room, Roby ran in carrying Gaby."Help! Someone please save my daughter!"He rushed into the room where several doctors and nurses were on duty."What happened?" asked one of the nurses."She’s been vomiting severely since this morning, but her body suddenly went ice cold. She won't wake up even when we call her," Roby explained. The nurse immediately took Gaby into the treatment room. Roby and Larisa were held back at the door, their
PART 10Natasya’s consciousness returned in the most painful way. When she opened her eyes, all she saw was a white ceiling. The sharp smell of antiseptic pierced her nose. This was not her bedroom.“W—where am I?” Her voice was hoarse, barely audible.Someone gasped. The face of a middle-aged woma
PART 9Natasya’s footsteps were soft as she entered the house. She missed her study—the one in this very house. It was the place where her father, Mr. Jordan, had spent most of his time.Old memories began flooding her mind. She remembered the first day she introduced Roby to her father.Inside her
PART 13Roby kissed Larisa’s forehead after their intimacy ended.“Promise me you will never leave me, Roby,” Larisa said softly as she hugged him tightly.“Of course, my love. I will never leave you,” Roby replied gently.“Even if Natasya asks you to?”There was a shadow of fear in Larisa’s eyes.
PART 11“Oh my God… Mrs. Natasya?”A shocked voice escaped from the lips of a beautiful young woman with a slender figure.“How are you, Angel?”“But… but you… how is this possible? You’re still alive?”Natasya smiled calmly.Today, she had deliberately come to visit one of her employees—Angel.“Wh
