LOGINAsteria D´Angelo
"I am going to call Sergei and Helia..." Dad said, and I nodded.
"Please, we are not staying with them... just let him know about our presence there so he can show us which areas are safe for us to move around," I said, and Dad nodded.
"Yeah, I will... but unfortunately, Sweetie, Sergei, and Helia would at least want to invite you to dinner..." Dad pointed out, and I nodded.
"I guess we can spend dinner with them." I looked at Zane, and he smiled.
"Sure..." he shrugged his shoulders, and I beamed. I loved how confident, how strong, and how secure he felt. It was not only that he was maturing, but there was some strange energy around him, something particular to a leader. I smiled, admiring my mate, and he lowered his gaze, meeting mine, and winked.
"We need to pack up..." I said, and Zane nodded. He picked up the compass and packed it in its leather pouch. He laced his fingers with mine... "Thanks, family..." She smile

ZaneI was amazed at how the four most powerful Lycans in the realm got together like little kids around a magical compass owned by the vampires. It was as if they had found a Holy Grail and were ready to explore it."Dad, do you think you can figure out how it works?" Asteria asked, and he nodded."Let's give it a shot..." He said, and Grecco mumbled a soft "Cool.""If it's magical, shouldn't we be asking Allegra?" Asteria asked, and they all looked at each other."Probably," her father sighed, and she nodded."I'll give her a call..." Asteria's mother said, and they all stood there circling the compass. The compass was nothing extraordinary; it was neither gold nor gilded. It was a simple, rusty metal compass, which was likely used for navigation, as evidenced by the damage to the metal caused by water and salt."Are we sure this one is magical?" I asked, and everyone looked my way, as if I had grown a second head."Ar
ZaneThe next day, Asteria was adamant that I take a break and rest. I was all for Iti, but only if she cuddled with me on the bed or the couch. She agreed, but with the condition of ´no funny business´ taking the fun away from my rest time.I tried to behave, but after Iris healed me, I felt completely fine, and I needed her. So, even though I agreed with the 'no funny business' policy, I found a loophole in the situation and took advantage of it. Instead of me making the first move, I enticed her to the point of making her break her own rules. At first, she just stared at me parading around shirtless, or while cooking, reaching for things, trapping her between the counter and my chest of drawers.I could see her trembling, and then she tried to regain control. I could see how her wall crumbled, and then she lifted them up, trying to allow me time to heal, but the reality was that I had never felt more alive in my life. It was while we were watching
Asteria D´AngeloZane´s lips trailed the column of my neck, sending me into a frenzy. I wanted him, needed him. He was here, the danger was over, and yet, I couldn´t shake from deep within my heart the fact that my mark, my blood, almost killed him."Zane, are you sure?" I mumbled in a haze. It felt so good to be in his arms, the way his lips ran down my neck, and the way his fangs scraped the mark he left in my body."More than sure about this..." he locked his eyes with mine, and I could feel him, and even his beast was tamed, yearning for us to come together."I love you," I said, and he smirked,"Darling, the best thing that has ever happened in my life is you. I had lost hope, my mind had already settled with the idea that my life, all of it, would be torture until my last breath, and then you happened. You came along and proved me wrong... You came along and showed me that even if my life was meant to be brief, love and happ
ZaneIt was awkward; I had never been held by a woman who wanted me to call her mother. My heart swelled, and the idea of being part of a family made me feel more than welcome by the D´Angelos, more like part of them, even if I didn´t want to.The doctor arrived and looked at the small ICU cubicle with curiosity. "I thought I said only one person with the patient." he looked at Asteria´s parents, and her mother smiled."You know how we roll..." she said, and the doctor sighed."He is a friend of the family..." Asteria whispered into my ear, and I knew that even if they were breaking the rules, the doctor would not do anything about it."Alright, Zane, let me check your vitals..." The doctor walked towards me and began taking my pulse, breathing, and heartbeat, as well as my temperature and blood pressure."You are up, and everything seems normal," he said, and I nodded."You have been here for almost two days, the pr
Asteria D´AngeloZane was back, and I could feel my link to the Moon Goddess again. It was true, what my sisters thought, someone was trying to tamper with our mission, with our bond... Someone who hates Lycans and Vampires getting along... Someone who hates darkness- Helios."Thanks for bringing me back," Zane said, and I smiled."It was not me, it was Elisa and Angie, who came up with a theory, and Iris and Dom who were the ones trying it. Thankfully, it worked." I sighed, and he looked into my eyes."Well, it was thanks to you... and your family, that I am back," he said, and I bit my lower lip. I was not known to be a crybaby, but somehow an avalanche of emotions hit me, and I started crying. "Hey, darling... what is it?" Zane cooed, and I sobbed harder.I thought I had lost her, I thought I would never have him back, but here he was. Also, I felt guilty. He had to be rushed into the hospital because my mark
