On the following day, I met Johnson at the nearby bar. He was a close friend from high school. As we sat down, he started sharing stories about his experiences in school and offered his condolences for my father's passing.

He even brought some beautiful flowers along as a gesture of support and comfort.

Johnson smiled kindly and said, "Abigail, I'm really sorry about your dad. Losing a loved one is never easy, and I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now."

I nodded, my voice filled with a mix of gratitude and sadness. "Thank you, Johnson. It's been really tough, but having friends like you around helps me find some comfort during this difficult time."
