Luka’s POV “Well, Ms. Ashley, it looks like your time is up.” I looked down at the woman tied to the chair. She was a mess—blood, sweat, and tears smearing her face—but I felt nothing. Viktor wiped a blade clean on a rag and glanced at me. “Who were you on the call with?” “Aiden,” I said, tucking my phone away. Behind the gag, she let out a muffled, frantic scream, her body thrashing against the ropes. Her eyes were wide, streaming with tears, but I just rolled my eyes. I’d seen her play the victim too many times; this girl was unbelievably fake. “Stop moving, or this will be a lot more messy than it needs to be,” I told her, my hand moving to my holster. “Or do you want to tell us where Ivanov is?” She only sobbed louder, the sound echoing off the cold warehouse walls. It was pathetic and I didn't have the patience for it.
