Aiden’s POV

The hot water slams into my shoulders and I have to bite back a groan because it feels so good. Steam is everywhere, turning the whole bathroom into this hazy little bubble where nothing else exists.

Nikolai’s right behind me, his chest glued to my back as his hands carefully wash me. I let my head fall back against his shoulder and close my eyes.

I forgot how much I missed this. Missed him.

I missed it so bad it’s been eating me alive.

His hands freeze on my hips. “You’re shaking.”

I swallow. “It's the hot water.”

“Bullshit.”

He turns me around slowly, water pouring over both of us, sticking his dark hair to his forehead in messy strands. His eyes lock on mine—steady and patient.

“You’ve been ghosting me for days, Aiden.” His voice is quiet. “Why?”

I drop my gaze to the tiles. Water swirls around the drain in little rivers. “I didn’t mean to.”

“Yeah, you did.” His fingers catch my chin, gentle but firm, lifting my face back up. “And I need to know why.”

My throat closes

  • RUIN MY 4.0   CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE: GOOD BOY

Aiden’s POVI come hard—right there in Nikolai’s lap.My hips jerk uncontrollably as I spill into my boxers, the wet heat soaking through my denim jeans in thick, shameful spurts. Every grind against him drags another wave out of me, my cock throbbing painfully against the rough fabric, overstimulated and still twitching even as the pleasure turns to pain.“Fuck—Nik—” My voice breaks into a whine. I bury my face in his neck, panting against his skin, mortified and blissed-out at the same time. I’ve never come like that before.Fuck, my jeans are ruined. I should be embarrassed. I am embarrassed. But Nikolai just holds me tighter, his hand splayed across my lower back.“Good boy,” he murmurs, low and rough against my ear.I feel my face flush. When did he start calling me that and why does it sound so… good?I mean, I’ve heard it in porn and rolled my eyes at it cause it sounded so cringe. But coming from him, my spent cock gives another pathetic twitch.I swallow, trying to catch my b

  • RUIN MY 4.0   CHAPTER THIRTY: LATE ARRIVAL

CHAPTER THIRTYNikolai's POV I pulled up to the curb outside the campus. It was only twenty minutes past when I’d said I’d be here—the traffic on the bridge had been a nightmare and I'd learned some very... disturbing information at the office regarding what Aiden had asked me to look into, his father. But still, I wasn't that late. Definitely not late enough for the death glare Aiden was throwing at me through the windshield. He yanked the passenger door open before I’d even fully stopped, dropped into the seat, and slammed it shut hard enough to rattle the whole frame.“Hey, babe,” I tried, keeping my voice light. “Sorry I’m—”“It's all good,” he cut in, flashing a smile that didn’t reach his eyes at all. “You can drive. I'm just a bit tired.”I glanced over as I pulled away from the curb. He had his arms crossed tight, staring straight ahead. His jaw was clenched tight. “What's really going on, Aiden? You’ve been ‘just tired’ for like two weeks straight,” I said, trying not to so

  • RUIN MY 4.0   CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE: FAMILY ISN'T BLOOD

Aiden’s POVI've barely been able to concentrate in all my classes. All I can practically think of is Nikolai. I’m still in my head, halfway across campus when someone slams into my shoulder hard enough to make my bag slip down my arm.“Oh—!”I stumble back a step, catching myself just in time.“Shit—sorry,” she says quickly, already reaching for my arm.Hailey.Her fingers linger a beat too long against my sleeve. When I look down, she’s already looking up at me, her lashes batting like this is some rom-com moment where we’re supposed to kiss or something.“I'm so sorry, it’s totally my fault,” she adds, breathless. “I wasn’t looking where I was going.”I gently pull my arm back. “It’s fine. I was distracted.”She smiles.“Yeah,” she says softly. “You do seem… kind of distracted.”I shift my bag higher on my shoulder. “Yeah, I'm a bit busy.”She steps closer anyway, invading my space. “I was hoping we could maybe grab coffee? Before lab? Or after. Whenever you’re free.”I exhale sl

  • RUIN MY 4.0   CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT: THE SERRANO STANDARD

Nikolai's POV I don't even know why I bothered coming. I can’t believe I let this get under my nerves.Viktor picks up the minute I call, like always.“Boss?”“Silas,” I say. My voice is low and clipped. “I want eyes on him. Now.”“Copy that,” Viktor responds, not bothering to ask for more information.I hang up and shove the phone back in my pocket.I’m halfway down the block, trying to walk off the adrenaline before I head to my car, when my phone buzzes again.I glance at the screen and actually stop dead on the sidewalk.Mom.Of fucking course. Why the hell is she calling?? She hardly ever calls.I let it ring twice more, debating whether to pick. I could ghost her. Send her to voicemail. But she'll just call again and again until I eventually give in.I answer.“Nikolai.”As always, she'll go straight to business. Classic.“Mother,” I say, laying the sarcasm on thick. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”“We need to see each other. Tonight.”I rub my forehead. I can feel a headache

  • RUIN MY 4.0   CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN: ON ROMAN'S LEASH

Silas’s POVI stare at the untouched cappuccino in front of me, the foam slowly deflating like my resolve. The steam curls up lazily, carrying the rich, bitter scent of espresso that usually comforts me, but today it just twists my stomach tighter.I can't believe I actually called him.My thumb still tingles from pressing the dial button this morning, after Nikolai picked up on the second ring. His voice is as a deep and guarded as I remember. It hit me like a shot of vodka straight to the chest.I could tell that he didn't want to come but we'd have to face each other soon. So, he really has no choice. My fingers drum on the table in paranoia. God, what am I doing? Nikolai hates me.What is Roman really hoping to gain?I take a sip of the cappuccino finally, but it's cooled too much, tasting flat. My eyes flick to the door every time the bell jingles but there's no sign of him.Part of me hopes he doesn't show. That he decided I'm not worth the time, and I can slink back to Roman w
