———*Unknown POV*———
I decided to sneak into the King’s building. The maids let me in after I threatened them. I followed the horrendous scent of that kid. Who was this kid? I hope she doesn’t think she can steal my King away from me. He’s mine and I don’t care about his illegitimate kid—or kids for that matter or literally kids in general.
Note: This is the last part of chapter 23. If you didn’t believe me, I told y’all it was long!So I just had to split it up. Shall we get down to business now? Let’s begin.———*Unknown POV*———
——*Kennedi's POV*——So it turns out the beds here are incredible! The pillows were so fluffy. I almost didn't want to get up but I knew I had to. When I awoke, the King, errr.. I mean Matt was waking up beside me. I dont know when he decided to sneak back in but he smelled like a fresh shower. I don't know why I didn't sleep in my own bed but I'm glad I didn't. My bed didn't feel like this. I guess the King's bed would be the best around. I'm glad he let me sleep here.
——*Kennedi's POV*——Yep, he should have known what came next. I waited for five minutes then I headed out right behind Elias. He had to be there by now. He was the faster runner here, and since there's commotion, he probably ran four times faster.I was a curious child. Nothing and
——*Kennedi's POV——*I said, "I'm not choosing him over you. I missed you more than you know. I wanted to run back every night but that's a long distance. I just wish you'd stop acting funny."
——*Kennedi's POV*——a week later
•What happened between the Elves & the Dogs•———————————————————————————
•Kennedi's POV•I missed Elias so much and I'm glad to be back in his presence. He looks so much more handsome now and his once bright blue eyes seemed to be of a cerulean shade now. I missed being able to ride Elias' back, seeing his face, and acting like we were royalty. I missed everything that involved Elias. The ride home on his back was like a fresh sip of cold water— very refreshing.
*Kennedi’s POV*I trained with Elias almost everyday now. We only trained for two hours a day. I’d gotten use to fighting everyday with Matt so the amount of time was nothing. I just wasn’t as focused as I needed to be right now; my mind was elsewhere.
