Chapter 16: The Bench at Midnight (Elena's POV)

The old park looks smaller than I remember. Street lamps glow yellow the fountain trickles soft water into the night air. The bench sits under a big oak tree leaves rustling in the breeze. I walk slow heart pounding loud in my ears. The black dress Matteo picked clings to me short tight no bra no panties just like he wanted. A reminder even here I'm theirs.

I see Daddy first. He sits on the bench back straight hands on his knees. He looks thinner face lined deeper eyes tired but when he sees me he stands quick like he can't believe I'm really here.

"Elena," he says voice thick. He opens his arms.

I step closer let him hug me. His arms wrap tight around me smell of old cologne and whiskey and home. For a second I close my eyes let myself feel small again safe like when I was little and bad dreams woke me up.

He pulls back holds my face in his hands thumbs brush my cheeks. "You came. Thank God you came."

I nod small tears already burning. "I had to see you Daddy. Hear you."

We sit on the bench close. His hand stays on mine squeezes gentle.

"I meant every word in the message," he says quiet. "I kept you locked away because I was scared. After your mom left I thought if I let you out the world would take you too. I was wrong. I see that now. You grew up beautiful strong. And I missed it all."

His voice cracks. He looks down at our hands. "I never wanted this for you. Never wanted you hurt. I thought keeping you safe meant keeping you mine. But I just made you lonely."

Tears slip down my face now. I wipe them quick. "I was lonely. But I was safe. You loved me the best way you knew how."

He nods slow. "I still love you. More than anything. Come home baby girl. We can start over. No more cages. No more guards watching every step. You can go to school date boys live. I'll step back let you breathe. Just come home."

His words wrap around me warm soft. I picture it. My old room clean sheets no chains no cum stains. Mornings with coffee and him reading the paper. No more fear no more guilt no more heat between my legs every time someone touches me.

I open my mouth to say maybe. To say okay. To say I miss that life.

But then his face hardens eyes flick behind me like he sees something.

"Your new friends," he says low voice turning cold. "They think they own you now. They think they can take what's mine and walk away clean. Matteo De Luca and his dogs. They killed my men took my territory used my daughter like a whore. They're trash Elena. Filthy trash. You let them touch you let them fill you let them mark you. You're better than that. Better than them."

The words hit hard sharp. My stomach twists anger rising fast hot.

"Don't talk about them like that," I say voice shaking. "You don't know them. You don't know what they gave me."

Daddy laughs bitter. "Gave you? They gave you cock and cum and chains. That's not love baby. That's control. Same as what I did but worse. At least I never hurt you."

"You hurt me every day you kept me locked away," I snap back. "You hurt me by never letting me live. They let me feel. They let me want. They let me be me."

His face darkens. "They brainwashed you. Turned my little girl into their slut."

The word slut lands like a slap. I stand up fast chest heaving.

"Don't call me that," I say voice loud in the quiet park. "I'm not your little girl anymore. I'm a woman. I choose them. I choose this. And you don't get to decide what's right for me."

Daddy stands too towers over me eyes blazing. "You're coming home. Tonight. No more games."

He grabs my wrist hard yanks me toward him. I pull back but he's stronger always was.

"Let go Daddy!"

He doesn't. He swings his other hand fast open palm cracks across my face. Pain explodes hot white. My cheek burns tears spring instant.

I taste blood lip split.

He doesn't stop. Throws me over his shoulder like I'm nothing carries me toward the parking lot fast.

I kick scream pound his back. "Put me down! Daddy stop!"

He ignores me strides quick toward a black SUV waiting engine running headlights off.

From the shadows Matteo Luca Nico burst out guns drawn.

"Put her down Vittorio!" Matteo shouts voice thunder.

Shots crack loud echo through the park.

Daddy's men appear from behind trees from cars hidden in the dark. More shots. Bullets whiz past sparks fly off metal benches.

Matteo dives behind a tree returns fire. Luca covers Nico they move fast closing in.

But Daddy reaches the SUV throws open the back door tosses me inside rough. I hit the seat hard breath knocked out.

He climbs in slams the door. "Drive!"

The car peels out tires screeching.

I scramble up look out the back window.

Matteo runs after us gun raised face twisted rage pain.

Luca shouts my name voice raw.

Nico fires one last shot shatters the rear window glass rains down.

Daddy pulls me down covers me with his body as bullets ping off the car.

The SUV speeds away park shrinking behind us.

I fight him push kick scream. "Let me go! They will come for me!"

He holds me tight arms like iron. "They won't find you this time. I'll made sure."

The car races through dark streets toward the highway.

I stop fighting go still chest heaving tears streaming.

Daddy strokes my hair gentle now voice soft broken.

"I'm sorry I hit you. I just... I can't lose you again. You're all I have left."

I don't answer.

My cheek throbs lip bleeds.

But inside something breaks wide open.

He kidnapped me.

My own father.

Took me by force.

And now we're speeding away from the only place I felt truly wanted.

From the men who ruined me.

From the men I love.

The car hits the highway engine roaring.

Daddy whispers sorry over and over.

But it's too late for sorry.

Because Matteo will come.

Luca will come.

Nico will come.

And when they do...

There will be blood.

The car disappears into the night.

And I close my eyes feel the road rumble under me.

This isn't over.

It's just beginning.

And next time...

Someone won't walk away.

Chapter 31: The Call The farmhouse stayed quiet for two more days after Elena sent the video. No new messages. No cars on the dirt road. No shadows moving in the trees. Matteo’s men patrolled in shifts, but the tension eased just enough for everyone to breathe. Elena spent the mornings in the kitchen again. Cooking simple things—pancakes one day, scrambled eggs the next. The guys ate like they hadn’t seen food in weeks. Luca always stole extra bacon. Nico ate slow, watching her move around like it was the best show he’d ever seen. Matteo just watched her. Always watching. She felt their eyes more now. Not hungry like before. Something steadier. Like they were memorizing her in the daylight. That afternoon she sat on the porch swing. Sun warm on her face. Bare feet on the wood. One of Matteo’s shirts again, sleeves rolled up. No bra. No panties. Just comfortable. Luca came out first. Sat beside her. Threw an arm over the back of the swing. “You look good out here,” he said. She

Chapter 30: Daddy’s First Move The negative test sat on the bathroom counter like a quiet promise. Elena stared at it one more time before tossing it in the trash. Relief mixed with a strange emptiness in her chest. She had expected panic, maybe tears. Instead she felt… steady. She walked back into the bedroom. The three of them were still there, waiting. Matteo sat on the edge of the bed, elbows on his knees. Luca leaned against the wall, arms crossed. Nico stood by the window, looking out at the empty driveway. Elena climbed onto the bed. Sat in the middle. “It’s negative. False alarm.” Luca pushed off the wall. “Good. Or bad. Whatever you need it to be.” Matteo looked at her. “You alright?” She nodded. “Yeah. Just… thinking. If it happens later, I want it. But right now? This is enough. Us. Here.” Nico turned from the window. “We’ve got time.” They didn’t push. Didn’t start touching her right away. They just sat with her. Matteo’s hand on her knee. Luca’s fingers brushing h

Chapter 29: First Pregnancy Scare The farmhouse had settled into a strange kind of rhythm. Days blurred together with no raids, no sudden moves, no new threats crashing through the door. Vittorio’s promised midnight attack never came. The traitor’s intel turned out half-true—men had gathered, cars had rolled, but something made them pull back at the last second. Maybe cold feet. Maybe a leak on their side. Matteo’s crew stayed sharp, guards doubled on the perimeter, but the quiet stretched on. Elena woke up one morning feeling off. Her breasts ached when she rolled over. Heavy. Tender. She pressed a hand to them and winced. Nausea rolled through her stomach, not bad enough to run to the bathroom, but enough to make coffee smell wrong. She sat on the edge of the bed. Matteo was already up, shirt on, checking the cameras on his phone. Luca snored softly beside her. Nico lay on his back, eyes open, staring at the ceiling like he was thinking hard. Elena touched her lower belly. Flat

. Elena stood at the counter in nothing but one of Matteo’s old black T-shirts. It hung loose on her, slipping off one shoulder, hitting mid-thigh.It's been 2 day since they've been expecting her dad and his gang but still nothing. No collar around her neck anymore. No silver ring pressing into her skin. Just faint marks that were already fading, and the quiet certainty that she didn’t need anything else to prove she belonged here. She poured four mugs. Black for Matteo. Two sugars for Luca. Cream for Nico. Hers plain, the way she’d started liking it. Luca came in first. Hair still messy. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, chin resting on her shoulder. “Morning,” he murmured. Kissed the side of her neck once. Soft. No teeth. Elena leaned back into him. “Morning. You sleep okay?” “Better when you’re in the middle. Always do.” Nico walked in next. Quiet steps. He took his mug, brushed a light kiss to her temple. “You look… settled,” he said. She smiled a little. “I f

Chapter 27: Comfort in the Quiet The traitor was tied to a chair in the basement. Matteo had handled the questioning himself. Short. Brutal. The man talked fast—entry points, numbers of men Vittorio was bringing, the exact hour they planned to hit. Midnight. Tonight. After the confession, Matteo shot him once in the head. No ceremony or words. Just the dull pop of the silencer and the slump of a body. Elena didn’t watch. She waited upstairs in the living room, wrapped in a blanket on the couch. When Matteo came back up, hands washed clean, he looked at her like he expected her to flinch. She didn’t. Instead she stood. Walked straight to him. Slid her arms around his waist and pressed her face to his chest. “I’m not scared,” she said quietly. “Not of this. Not of you.” Matteo exhaled hard. His arms came around her tight. “You should be. We’re monsters.” “You’re my monsters.” Luca and Nico appeared from the hallway. Luca wiped a spot of blood off his knuckles with a rag. Nico c

The New Safe House They moved at dawn. No packing. Just the clothes on their backs, a duffel of cash, weapons, and Elena. Matteo drove fast through back roads. Luca sat in the passenger seat with a rifle across his lap. Nico was in the back with Elena, arm around her shoulders, keeping her steady. The new place was deeper in the hills. An old farmhouse Matteo’s crew had bought cash last year. Stone walls. High fences. Cameras everywhere. No neighbors for miles. Elena stepped inside first. The air smelled like pine and fresh paint. Big open living room. Stone fireplace. Wide staircase. A kitchen with a long table that looked made for more than eating. Matteo locked the door behind them. Triple bolts. Then he turned to her. “Welcome home, princess. Again.” She looked around. “This one feels… permanent.” Luca dropped the duffel. Grinned. “It is. No more running every week. We’re digging in.” Nico set his bag down gently. “You okay?” Elena nodded. Touched her colla
