60. Hot Tempers

“Do you have a secure location to stop for a few hours rest?” Jonathan questions Thane, as we continue weaving through the trees heading north.

“Yes, we have a few hours to go, it’s up near the mountains by some caves, it’ll overlook a good vantage to see anyone trying to come at us,” Thane answers, looking back at Jonathan then down to me, as I nod.

“Good, I’ll hunt so we can eat then rest, I want to be home before sundown tomorrow,” I link both of them, and watch the four vampires who appear to be a little older than Thane.

“No, you will rest with Thane and the others, you’ve been through too much, and felt Raven. I will hunt for us,” Jonathan corrects me, as we turn up a path heading for the mountains.

“And how will we feed you, and them?” Thane questions, making Embry growl then huff with the shake of his head.
