94. Natural Mum

“Shhhh, what’s the matter?” I sooth Roan, scooping her up from the center of the bed surrounded by pillows that smell of my mates.

“Oh, you’re a stinky girl, and I’m sure you’re hungry too,” I nearly gag at the smell of her diaper as her cries turn into soft sobs and whimpers.

“Hey, stop your crying, Mumma has you,” I reassure, carrying her over to the changing table with fresh diapers and cloths to wash her with.

“You’re so pretty like your Da, you have his hair, even the curls,” I giggle while laying her down staring at her beautiful locks that are identical to Embry’s.

Roan quickly calms down at my voice and touch, making my heart melt at how easy it is to sooth my pup.

“Your brother snores like both Da’s and can sleep through anything…”
