Chapter 10

Annessa’s forehead creased  when she heard Logan called him by his endearment for her. Instead of turning to look at him, she chose to go back inside. She held Danika’s hand.

  “Dannie, let’s get inside.” She suggested.

Logan’s sister didn’t complain when she pulled her.

  “Baby let’s talk.” Logan’s voice was almost pleading.

He blocked her way with his hunky body. She had to raise her face to look at him with eyes like half slits. She wanted to yell at him but of course she couldn’t. She felt his sister gently removed her hand from hers.

 “Anne, I think Darrin is right. It’s high time you talk.” She  said before leaving them.

She was about to follow her but her ex took her arm. She flinched and pulled it back.  She turned her back on him and crossed her arms in front of her. She badly wanted to get away from him but having seen how determined he was,  she was sure that  she would just draw atten
