Sarah's Pov

The night swallowed Sarah whole. Every desperate breath burned in her lungs.

Her choice felt like a physical weight, chaining her to the cracked earth beneath her bare feet. This wasn't just walking; it was a surrender.

The humid air, thick with the pervasive stench of gasoline, stale sweat, and old sins, seemed to cling to her skin. It was a perfect path to hell, and she walked it willingly.

She knew the place. The Viper's Den. A Vulture dive on the city's outskirts, where the streetlights died and laws followed suit. The neon sign above the entrance hung crooked, its few remaining tubes flickering erratically. It dared not stay lit too long, too afraid to truly reveal the depravity within.

This was where she’d heard Caleb’s men congregate, a lair for the very monsters she sought to escape. And now, she walked straight into it.

Sarah's hands, clammy with a cold sweat that had nothing to do with the night's chill, shook uncontrollably as she reached for the heavy, rusted

(Jax’s POV)Jax didn’t sleep. Couldn’t. The hours after the factory raid blurred. A haze of violence and rage. The Blackfangs tore through the city like wolves on the scent of blood. Vulture safehouses burned. Stragglers were dragged out, beaten, questioned. Left broken in alleys. But no one knew where Caleb ran. No one knew where he took Lila.Jax’s fists bled from pounding faces. His voice went raw from demanding answers. His heart burned with the weight of every second his daughter was gone. The failure gnawed at him. He wouldn't stop. Couldn't.And then—a break.Riot burst into the room. Breath heaving. Eyes wide with news.“Got a location, Jax! Old slaughterhouse on the east side! Caleb’s holed up there—with the kid!”Jax’s whole body coiled like a spring. Every muscle tightened. This was it.“Mount up,” he growled. “We finish this.”He moved for the door. Riot and Ghost blocked his path. Hammer stood behind them, solid.“Too dangerous,” Jax ground out. “This is my fight. My fami

(Jax’s POV)The kid led them down a narrow, treacherous dirt track. Moonlight cast long, twisted shadows over the broken road. Jax’s engine growled beneath him, a furious beast. It couldn’t drown out the pounding of his heart.Every second counted. Every mile brought him closer—or maybe too late. The thought was a cold, sharp blade. The boy, shivering slightly, pointed ahead. “There. That old factory. The van went inside.” His voice was a whisper.Jax’s eyes narrowed. The building loomed in the dark. Rusted steel, shattered windows like vacant eyes. A skeleton of a dead god. The air grew heavy, thick with decay and damp earth.“Stay back,” Jax barked at the kid. Then to his men: “We go in fast. We go in hard. Watch for traps. Caleb’s play. He’ll have something waiting.”The Blackfangs fanned out, fluid and lethal. Weapons drawn. Boots crunched gravel, sound swallowed by the vast silence. Each man, a shadow, moving with practiced efficiency.Jax’s chest burned. A fierce, protective fir

Jax's PovThe night wind stung Jax’s face as the Blackfangs roared through the dark, engines growling like wolves hunting prey. His hands gripped the handlebars so tight his knuckles burned, the leather biting into his skin. His heart pounded in time with the bike’s thunderous roar, a desperate drumbeat against his ribs. Every second felt like a lifetime slipping away.Lila. Sarah. His daughter’s bright, innocent smile. Sarah’s haunted, weary eyes. Both of them, so precious, so vulnerable, slipping further from his reach with every agonizing beat of his engine. The thought was a raw ache in his chest, a burning urgency that fueled his speed. He pushed his bike harder, ignoring the chill that cut through his leather vest. They reached the Vultures’ bar — the kind of place where death lingered in the walls, an invisible presence in the stale air. The flickering neon sign above the door was half-broken, casting a sickly red glow over the deserted lot. The parking lot was mostly empty, a

Reaper's PovThe air inside the clubhouse crackled with a tension so thick it felt like static before a lightning strike. The heavy oak table in front of Jax, scarred with a century of knife marks, cigarette burns, and the dried, faded stains of old blood, bore the brutal history of a hundred violent decisions. It was a monument to the Blackfangs’ reign, and tonight, it felt like an altar for sacrifice. Riot, his most loyal, most volatile brother, leaned forward, his scarred fists clenched on the table. His dark eyes, usually glinting with mischief, burned with an unbridled fury that Jax recognized all too well. “We don’t have time to play goddamn babysitter, Jax. That girl? Sarah? She’s baggage. You know it. I know it. Every man in this room knows it. You hand her over to the Vultures – we get Lila back. End of story. Clean. Simple.” Ghost, silent as his chosen name, remained in the shadows. He just watched, his gaze unblinking. The predatory glint of steel in his eyes said he

(Sarah’s POV)The cold night air burned in Sarah’s lungs, a raw, desperate gasp for a freedom she could taste but couldn't quite reach. The small bag she clutched to her chest was pitiful – a meager collection of clothes, a wad of crumpled bills she’d snatched from Caleb’s secret stash. It wasn’t much, but it represented everything: a sliver of hope, a desperate bid for a life that wasn't dictated by the click of a gun or the slam of a fist. Freedom. The word echoed in her mind, a sweet, impossible whisper. But freedom, she now knew, had a terrifying sound. It was the guttural roar of a motorcycle engine, suddenly too close, too powerful. It was the sickening screech of tires on gravel, cutting through the silence of the house. And then, worst of all, it was Caleb’s voice, low and deadly, slithering from the shadows behind her. “You ungrateful bitch.”Sarah froze, her muscles locking in terror. A second, perhaps two, stretched into an eternity. He snatched her from behind, yanking h
