My mother concluded that I won't be going to school that day. I was happy. She gave me my breakfast and I had to sleep all through the morning. I missed classes because of my foolishness but, I still didn't learn. I had a particular phone that my dad gave me to be able to reach him or my mom whenever I am left alone at home. VALERIE'S POV One thing I like about my parents is that they carry each other along. They always do things together. My parents don't hide anything from each other. I remember while I was growing up, they always go up to the roof of the house every night, but I never cared to find out why. I came back from school, looking so exhausted. I couldn't do my assignment, so I went to bed. It was midnight, I woke up because I was hungry. I knew I didn't eat anything before going to bed. I rushed down to the kitchen, mom actually brought out my portion of food and covered it. I only had to put it in the microwave to make it hot.
