Andrea May Be Ghost

"I remember telling you to rest as much as you can." Andrea sighed without looking up at whoever walked into her study.

Alessandro walked to where she sat and stood in front of her.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that with you locked in here since the last five days." Alessandro said, breathing out shakily.

His breathing was rough and haggard. And because the room was quite silent, Andrea could hear every breath he took in.

"My father needs you alive. You dying will do him no good." Andrea mumbled, turning over the next page of the document which she held closely.

"He's worried, Andrea."

"He shouldn't be."

"Listen to me. If your son had survived childbirth, your father would've told you." Alessandro mentioned.

Andrea didn't react immediately until she was done with the words written on the page.

"I didn't even know I had twins, Alessandro. Tell me again why I should trust a word that comes out of your mouth or that of my father's?" She scoffed, glancing up at him.
