Candel’s Dark Side POV

I felt a surge of pure, unbridled rage wash over me.

My eyes narrowed as the rogue's words echoed through the forest. "What did you call me?" I growled.

The rogue sneered at her. "I called you rifraff," he spat. "You're nothing but a low-born, a nobody. And you think you can come here and challenge me? You're nothing but a joke."

My rage flared up, My fists clenching at my sides.

I couldn't believe the audacity of this rogue, to insult me after everything i had been through.

I had fought my way through the Rebirth and come out on top, and now this rogue was belittling her like she was nothing.

Without another word, I charged at the rogue, my fists flying.
